The provisions on the prohibition of dog walking are based on Article 2 of the Notice on Strengthening the Management of Dog Raising in Urban Areas jointly issued by Yichang Urban Management Committee, Municipal Agriculture Bureau and Municipal Public Security Bureau. "Citizens and tourists are not allowed to bring dogs into offices such as institutions, enterprises and institutions and public places where people gather in markets, shopping malls, restaurants, parks, squares, schools and hospitals."
