The little teacher has great energy.
By letting students be small teachers and giving lectures to classmates on the platform, students' interest in mathematics learning can be improved and their mathematics ability can be improved. The essence of this kind of teaching is to focus on students' learning and highlight students' subjectivity.

Our school is located in the countryside, and most students are introverted. Students' learning style is mainly based on simply accepting teachers' knowledge. The new curriculum reform is not only the reform of basic education, but also the reform of promoting quality education, which is a systematic reform. Due to the influence of exam-oriented education, the long-formed teaching concept requires students to master the knowledge in their minds, which is decoupled from their practical ability and their practical ability is poor. Teachers only pay attention to students' ability to master knowledge, skills and solve problems, while curriculum reform aims to cultivate students' practical ability and creative ability. Changing students' concept of observing phenomena into exploring phenomena, and cultivating students' practical ability, that is to say, teachers are required to completely change the previous teaching concepts and outdated teaching concepts, and build an inquiry learning space aimed at cultivating students' practical ability and innovative ability to meet the needs of the new era.
In order to stimulate students' enthusiasm for learning, let them get the emotional experience of personally participating in the research, thus enhancing their enthusiasm for learning mathematics and their spirit of unity, cooperation, courage to explore and perseverance. I spent a lot of time and used many methods, including the popular group consultation activities, but the results were not good. In an accidental teaching, I found that it was surprisingly good to let students replace teachers as small teachers to explain topics.
Scene description
After learning the judgment theorem and examples of triangle congruence, I asked the students to solve such an exercise, as shown in the following figure. It is known that AB=DF, AC=DE, BE=CF, and the verification is △ ABC △ DFE.
When students are doing problems, I walk around the class to see how students master knowledge and solve problems. I found that Chen, a lively and bold student in my class, solved this problem well, and I suddenly had an idea: let me go on stage to do this problem and explain it to my classmates instead of me? I thought of doing it, so I immediately told Chen what I thought. Chen himself likes acting very much and agreed at once. When I announced that Chen would explain this problem to the students instead of me, the students were very excited and gave warm applause. So Chen went on stage to explain the topic.
When Chen came to the stage to explain, he first analyzed and said: It is proved that these two triangles are congruent, and the title gives us two groups of corresponding sides equal, but the conditions are not enough. We can either find the included angle between the two sets of corresponding edges or find that the other set of corresponding edges is equal. According to the known conditions, we can only find the other set of corresponding edges.
Solve the problem as follows: prove ∵BE=CF
? BE+EC=CF+EC
? BC=EF
In △ABC and △DFE.
AB = DF,AC=DE,BC=EF
? △ABC?△DFE
I found that although his analysis was not very thorough, his speech was quite clear. More importantly, when Chen was explaining, the students below were very emotional and listened carefully. Even the worst students are listening carefully. Maybe they want to read Chen's jokes, but at least they are listening carefully. After Chen finished, I made an appropriate supplement and then raised a similar topic. Those poor students never write at ordinary times, but this time a few actually picked up pens and tried to do it. So I struck while the iron was hot and announced that every class would arrange a classmate to take the stage to explain the topic to the classmates.
In the next teaching, I really arrange a classmate to come to the stage to explain the topic in each class. In order to talk about the topic well, students usually listen more carefully than before, and the phenomenon of homework plagiarism is greatly reduced. Finally, those poor students also want to try it on stage. Of course, I won't miss this opportunity. After reading their problem-solving, I found that they all got it right, so I decided to let them go on stage as little teachers one by one. Although there were classmates when I first went up? Haha? Make fun of them carefully, but they all resisted the pressure and finally succeeded.
After one month's implementation, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the students' grades have been greatly improved after the unit examination. Originally, there were only one or two A-level students in the class at a time, but this time it reached six. The poor student who has always been a single-digit score actually got about 40 points this time. Although they are still poor, their progress is still obvious. I praised them in time, and they were more energetic. I believe they will make more and more progress.
Second, the effect of reflection.
From students who are shy and afraid to go on stage to students who raise their hands and ask to go on stage, from only a dozen passes to more than twenty passes, and the obvious progress of six or seven A-level grades, from poor students who don't want to attend classes to positive performance, I fell into deep reflection. I think having students explain topics instead of teachers has the following advantages:
1. Improve classroom activities.
After the students came to the stage to talk about the topic, their courage was obviously increased. Only a few people will answer before I give a lecture. Now every time I ask a question, the answer is not just a few people, but a large number of people. The classroom atmosphere is very active. In the class of other subjects, the teacher of this subject also reflected this good phenomenon to me. The teachers in this subject all praised me as a good head teacher. I have only been in charge of this class for half a semester, and the class spirit has obviously changed a lot.
2. Improve students' self-confidence.
When the students came to the stage to explain, I gave them some advice and praise appropriately. I made it a rule that the following students should not boo and clap. After the students finish speaking, I will make some appropriate supplements and praise the highlights of the students' explanation. I found that students' self-confidence was greatly improved and they dared to communicate with me after class. Occasionally, they make some small mistakes in their lectures. They dare not point them out at first, but now they can boldly point them out in class. Although it makes me feel embarrassed, isn't this a sign that their self-confidence has been greatly improved?
3. Cultivate team spirit
After assigning questions, I allow students to discuss in groups. Students cultivate team spirit, enhance friendship and appreciate the benefits of cooperation in group discussion. After class, we can also unite and be friendly. There was a fight in the class at the beginning of the semester, and it has never happened since the students came to the stage to talk about the topic.
4. Improved performance
The improvement of students' grades is the most obvious. When I took over this class, the performance of one class was obviously worse than that of the other. After the implementation of students' lectures on stage, our class's mid-term exam results have been significantly improved. We have six A's in math and only three in another course. The average score is 77.4, while they only have 55.4. Other subjects are basically the same. We only lost to them in Chinese, but won all other subjects. Students' grades have improved and their self-confidence has exploded. When you go out, loudly say that we are in Grade Two (1), we are the best, and the class is full of honor.
Of course, there are advantages and disadvantages. Lack of class hours is the most important thing. Let the students talk about the topic, which will reduce the teacher's lecture time and make my teaching progress lag behind other teachers. I have to use class meetings and self-study classes to give lectures, which takes up students' self-study time.
Three summaries
From students' fear of raising their hands to going on stage, they are right? Accident? I see: students need a free space to fully display themselves. As teachers, we need to provide students with a free and democratic atmosphere and fully cultivate their self-confidence. Let students with learning difficulties have the desire to speak and speak freely about problems. Teachers should also be able to seize these bright spots in time so that every student has a chance. In other words, students should actively participate in teaching, because it embodies the concept of modern curriculum: activity, democracy and freedom.
