A good family learning environment includes two aspects: soft environment and hard environment:
1. Hard environment of home learning environment
The hard environment of family learning environment includes: quiet residence, bright study, comfortable tables and chairs, suitable lighting, necessary school supplies and other material conditions.
At present, people's living standards have generally improved, and housing conditions are becoming more and more spacious. Conditional families must set up a separate study for their children, equipped with a writing desk, bookcase and computer. The layout of the room should not be fancy, so as not to distract the children from their studies. You can hang famous sayings on the inner wall, make good family rules, family instructions and so on. If the child is young and has enough space at home, you can also set up various functional angles for the child, such as family children's paradise, learning angle, operation angle, parent-child game angle and so on. Family children's paradise can have small slides, fitness equipment and educational entertainment toys; Family study corner, both adults and children can put books and pens; The operation angle of the family can include the collection of waste articles and artistic utensils, and children and parents make all kinds of interesting toys together; Family parent-child game corner can have toys for parent-child sports and entertainment games.
Families with insufficient housing conditions should also arrange a fixed corner and desk for their children. This desk can't be used for other purposes, it is specially for children to learn! ! The desk should be beautiful and comfortable, and the drawer should be equipped with tools needed for doing all kinds of homework: scissors, paper cutter, glue, adhesive tape, paint, watercolor pen, white paper, etc. In this way, when he needs it, he can find it immediately and will not be upset because of the lack of a tool. The desk should be tidy, and everything unrelated to study should be cleaned up before study, leaving only school supplies, books, exercise books and so on. This will not distract children from other things, but also help them to disperse their writing.
It is very important to provide children with a fixed learning place. Children have a fixed seat in kindergarten, and the task on the seat is to study; At home, children should also have a fixed place to study. Its function is mainly to form a direction of learning place. That is to say, whenever a child sits down in a accustomed place, he will think of learning in a conditioned way like a doctor entering a ward or a scientist entering a laboratory, which is called a place dynamic stereotype in psychology.
Many surveys have confirmed that one of the main reasons why many children with poor academic performance don't do homework is that there is no place to do it at home!
2. Soft environment of home learning environment
The soft environment of family learning environment includes: parents' role models, quiet family environment, family learning atmosphere and parents' attitude towards school.
First of all, parents should set an example. Parents' habits have a great influence on children. Many children's habits are subtly "transplanted" or learned directly from their parents. Parents love learning, regard reading and learning as their biggest hobby in their spare time, and talk about learning as an important topic in their families. Children will unconsciously improve their interest in learning and consciously imitate their parents to study hard. However, in real life, there are always some parents who don't read books or newspapers in their spare time and indulge in casinos, dance halls and wineries all day long, but constantly ask their children to "concentrate on reading sage books and turn a deaf ear to things outside the window". As a result, children gradually resent their parents' "good intentions." According to the survey, nearly a quarter of the students said that their parents' excessive leisure activities would have a great negative impact on their studies.
Secondly, parents should create a quiet and silent learning environment for their children. To let children study with peace of mind, parents must first settle down. Parents must understand that good learning is conditional on a quiet, noise-free and undisturbed learning environment. Therefore, for the sake of children's study, parents should be good at restraining themselves, make some sacrifices, and try to create a relatively quiet environment for their children: don't play poker or mahjong while their children are studying; Don't play TV, radio and tape recorder loudly when children are studying; Don't disturb your child when he is studying. In addition, families should have a strong atmosphere of loving learning and making progress. There must be a book at home. We should know that parents' interest in learning will affect their children's interest in learning, which will indirectly affect their academic performance. A student's English has always been poor, and he always fails every English exam. His mother was a student during the ten-year turmoil, and she was unfamiliar with English, but she still had a little knowledge base. Under the guidance of the head teacher's foreign language teacher, she studies English with her son every day. In this way, the mother and son study together, and the students' interest in learning begins to improve little by little. He got 85 points in the final exam, and he is no longer afraid of English. Instead, he urged his mother to learn to read. Another child won the first place in the college entrance examination, and everyone came to consult their parents. If we say experience, we have created a good "learning atmosphere" for our children since they started school. As long as the children study, we don't watch TV or listen to recordings, and stay up late with them. The child sees his mother immersed in reading and studying every day, and he is very focused. Finally, parents' attitude towards kindergartens and teachers is also very important. Parents should tell their children more interesting stories about their childhood in school, convey more information about their good yearning and good memories of school, and strive to cultivate their children's feelings for kindergarten.
