There are three main subjects in the doctor of law examination: a foreign language course and two specialized courses, including political theory course, foreign language and specialized courses. The number and topics of specialized courses are determined independently by each enrollment unit. In-service doctoral students in liberal arts should take the course of scientific socialism theory and practice, and in-service doctoral students in science and engineering should take the course of dialectics of nature. In addition, candidates with the same academic qualifications must try two additional master's courses in the second interview, and the in-service doctoral examination in law can pass the examination.
