Brief introduction of Tang Tao.
Tang Tao (1913-1992), formerly known as Duan Yi, was born in Zhenhai, Zhejiang. I once worked as a postal worker in Shanghai Post Office, and began to engage in amateur creation in the 1930s, mainly in prose and essays, and my style was close to that of Lu Xun, so I met him. In the 1940s, Tang Tao co-founded Weekly with his friends, and later edited Wen Wei Po Supplement Pen Club. After the founding of New China, Tang Tao successively served as a professor at Fudan University, deputy director of Shanghai Cultural Bureau and deputy editor-in-chief of Literature Monthly. From 65438 to 0959, he was transferred to the Institute of Literature, Department of Sociology, China Academy of Sciences (now China Academy of Social Sciences) as a researcher. 1978 concurrently holds the post of professor, master student and doctoral supervisor of the Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.

Tang Tao wrote a lot of essays, essays and comments in his life, and recorded important publishing activities in the history of modern literature in the form of Hui 'an Shuhua. Tang Tao is one of the founders of Lu Xun's research discipline, and is also recognized as an authoritative scholar at home and abroad. He once participated in editing the Complete Works of Lu Xun (version 1938), edited and published the Supplement to the Complete Works of Lu Xun and the Supplement to the Complete Works of Lu Xun, and sorted out and verified Lu Xun's lost articles. His series of works about Lu Xun's creation enjoy a high reputation in the history of Lu Xun's research. Tang Tao is also one of the pioneers in the research field of modern literature in China, and has made important contributions to historical materials and historical theories. The History of Modern Literature in China (3 volumes) and A Brief History of Modern Literature in China, edited by him, are important works for studying modern literature and are listed as general textbooks for liberal arts in colleges and universities.

There are more than 20 kinds of papers, essays, comments and essays published in Tang Tao. Social Science Literature Publishing House published the Complete Works of Tang Tao (volume 10) in 1995.
