But it doesn't talk about technology, but about the creative process and concepts. The more these contents, the more I understand, and there are pictures and examples to prove it, which really makes me feel suddenly connected, subverting many previous photography concepts and causing a lot of thinking about writing. Now I'll sort them out and record them as follows:
1, the highest level of photography is meaningful, just like an article should have an interesting artistic conception.
In the past, beauty was the most important thing, whether you were admiring other people's photos or taking photos by yourself. But when many beautiful photos are gathered together, the feeling of beauty is numb, just like when many beautiful women and handsome guys are together, you will have aesthetic fatigue. Photographers call such photos syrup tablets, which will have a future in some photography competitions aimed at promoting tourism in a certain place, but the evaluation of the photography circle is not high. The most valuable photos are those with a small angle, but they can arouse imagination, think, make people understand or shock.
Just like an inscrutable, voluminous and seemingly beautiful article, it is not the best one. Wang Meng said that the article should be interesting first, and I think it is right. It is the strongest reading pleasure that makes people suddenly have an epiphany, or causes a * * * sound, or emotions are controlled, that is, they enter an artistic conception.
2. Don't shoot the scenery photographed by countless people, at least not from the angle photographed by countless people. Just like writing an article about a unique life, choose a unique angle.
When we spend huge sums of money to shoot rape flowers in Wuzhou, terraces in Yunyang and fishing boats in Moon Bay, no matter how well we shoot, who will be amazed at the photos we have seen? Let's find more things from life that others haven't noticed. For example, more than a decade ago, tourists combed their hair with the West Lake as a mirror, the old people chatted with empty eyes in the dilapidated old teahouse, and the left-behind children knelt helplessly on the long dirt road ... Most good photos are narrative, and the click reflects a person's heart, a long life experience, and even the condensation of an era and a country's changes. Several people said that it would take a long time to get a unique angle. For example, the old man lies on a bamboo couch and listens to the radio to enjoy the cool. After waiting for a long time, a naive and lovely little girl came, followed by a puppy, and the artistic conception came out, reminding people of humanistic words such as years and life.
The article is long, medium and short, and the length is not important. It is important to effectively reflect many situations, tastes and social phenomena in life with a good angle, good tailoring, good artistic conception and good description. Even if you write about a subject that others have already written, write about something that others have not found. Take the familiar TV series as an example. Dwelling in a humble abode has seized the difficulties of young people's lives, especially the housing problem. Winning the golden wedding reflects that the husband and wife are just sweet and bitter, loving and noisy, and living a life of daily necessities. TV dramas reflecting married life have existed for a long time, but they dare not play back the seemingly dull life for decades. Generally, a lot of love and hate are added, and they are displaced from place to place.
3, photography should take good details. The article should be written in detail
Photography has a natural advantage in grasping details and everything, but people often turn a blind eye, or pay attention to what should be ignored and ignore what should be paid attention to. For example, in an alley covered with red couplets and blessings, an old man leisurely put forward new year's goods, and his restrained but still complacent smile on his face made people laugh, which was very lively. Photography should be original, excluding all artificial beautification, "posing photography", whether it is original or not, whether there is post-production, and modern magnification technology can basically be found out.
This is also in line with the style of writing. There are many writing enthusiasts on the Internet who are still making up plots. The most primitive and essential attribute of a novel is to tell stories and tell good stories. The sublimity of A Dream of Red Mansions lies in the fact that countless details are condensed into unchangeable possibilities. So Anna karenin is bound to commit suicide, and Madame Bovary is bound to swallow arsenic. Compared with them, Jin Yong, who is good at plot, has high and low. Wei Xiaobao has many wives and concubines on uninhabited islands. What do you eat? Teenagers can be fascinated by Jin Yong's novels, and adults can hardly be addicted to them except science students like Hua. The details themselves are asking you for reasons. You must give them out. You can decide so many life experiences, personalities and fates. Everything is under your control, but you can't mess around. It's boring to fool around Some are just like playing games, but once you get involved, it will be much more serious than games. Because details are everywhere, we can't take them lightly. Details test a person's life experience, and it is difficult for even imaginative writers to write novels with news as the theme.
4. Simple life and simple photography. Simple life and simple writing.
This is the theory of Yuyao Well Lee. One of the top five photographers in Ningbo, and the youngest member of China Photographers Association. He is only in his twenties. Indeed, his works are skilled and good at combining traditional and modern ideas. The shape, color, light and shadow of the photo are very strong, so it has a great visual impact. Before considering the specific technology, he often has a poetic mood or has something to say about the scenery. This enables him to ignore many miscellaneous things around him and express what he wants to express subjectively very clearly and strongly. While emphasizing the details, it is especially able to delete the complex and simplify.
Looking back on the impressive articles I read before and recently, short stories are naturally simple in plot, but they can reflect the world with water droplets from a particularly accurate angle. The novella may be very long and written by many people, but the narrative context is clear. Wang Anyi's new work Tianxiang is huge in length, but its narrative context is very clear, quite in the style of A Dream of Red Mansions. A Dream of Red Mansions is written in sections according to the time relationship. It is long but not chaotic, as if living with a big family for decades. During this period, Cao Xueqin must have chosen and cut off the prototype of life.
5. Take pictures of things that can enter the spiritual field of vision and arouse emotions, and write out people and things that make you emotional.
The speaker said that he saw an emotional picture and was so excited that his camera went downhill. Another said that the winning work was lying on the ground and dancing with two feet as soon as it was taken, and the emotional photo taken was happiness. Isn't writing an article the same? I don't need to elaborate on this point. We are not students, we have to finish our homework or composition in the examination room, and we are not secretaries or members of writers' associations. We have a writing task, and we write articles because we have feelings. As an unknown amateur writer, it is not because of emotional drive again and again that I persist today. What is it?
6. Photography should learn both traditional and modern techniques. Writing should also develop on the basis of absorbing tradition.
The chairman of the Photographers Association said that many of his creations were inspired by Well Lee, such as modern graphics composed of traditional farm tools and stone tunnels, and the combination of solar water heaters, ancient roofs and skyscrapers.
So is writing. When watching Tianxiang, there was a passage that made people gain something. Yang Zhifu commented that Shanghainese like the paintings of Tang Yin and Xiangshan laity so much, "Yang Zhifu said." However, the way of painting and calligraphy is quaint anyway. He declared that the world laughed and said: Yangchi County has a very high grade, and you will inevitably be lonely in Shanghai. You might as well lie down a little. Isn't it just a peanut tree? In fact, after the Song Dynasty moved south, everything gradually deviated from orthodoxy. Like Tang Ziwei, it began in Chenghua, crossed Hongzhi and Zhengde, and reached Jiajing. Wu Pai, a prosperous school and the later Zhejiang school, is unique, integrated with ancient and modern North and South, but it is first-class. "Although there are many classical poems, how far do people push the writing trend to the forefront? This should also be what future generations see today. Take novels as an example. Some novels I read recently are hard to sum up in one word, but they are quite different from those I wrote when I was a child or even a few years ago. If I read a novel with the same plot as Zhang Hui, I will lose my appetite.
Photography is not about equipment, nor how far you can go, but about your ability to discover, understand and reproduce life. In the words of the chairman of Ningbo Photographers Association, it is brain, not equipment, but culture, not technology. What about writing? I think it's the same, spelling eyes, spelling brains, spelling hearts and spelling cultures. Photography, taking plane images as the times; Writing, writing for the times.
