Party constitution stipulated that it is one of party member's obligations to "study Marxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought, Deng Xiaoping Theory, Theory of Three Represents, Scientific Outlook on Development and Socialism with Chinese characteristics Thought in the New Era, the Party's line, principles, policies and resolutions, and the basic knowledge of the Party".

Learning the basic theory of Marxism is a compulsory course for party member. Since the 18th CPC National Congress, the Political Bureau of the Central Committee has repeatedly studied the basic principles and methodology of historical materialism, dialectical materialism and Marxist political economy.

The Manifesto of the Producer Party makes no secret of the class nature of Marxist political parties, takes a clear-cut stand on the side of the proletariat and the broad masses of the people, enthusiastically eulogizes the great role of the masses in promoting historical progress, and regards the proletariat as the representative of advanced productive forces, the grave digger of the capitalist system and the creator of the new social system.
