The traditional teaching method is mainly the repeated practice of basic skills. Students don't know how to use knowledge and skills flexibly in real situations, lack the comprehensiveness and practicality of the course, and it is difficult to achieve the teaching objectives.
In the teaching of database technology training course, in order to strengthen students' practical skills, project research and development experience and professional quality, the author uses project teaching method to explore practical teaching reform, and carries out teaching activities according to the following five steps: defining project tasks, making plans, implementing plans, checking and evaluating, archiving or applying. From the selection and design of training projects, the planning of functional structure, the development of functional modules to the demonstration of the whole project, students are implementing it. Students analyze and think about the project, ask questions and determine solutions, and complete the project tasks through autonomous learning, cooperative learning, inquiry learning and other activities, thus cultivating vocational skills. Practice has proved that project teaching method can effectively establish the connection between classroom and social life, thus making students' learning more targeted and practical, better cultivating their professional skills and other social abilities, and making vocational school students enter social roles ahead of time.
