By default, the authors of sci papers are signed according to each author's contribution, that is, the higher the author's signature, the greater the weight. The second author of sci papers has a very good position compared with the authors with lower signatures, such as the third author and the fourth author, but has a better position compared with the second author, namely the first author and the correspondent author. The second author of sci papers is useful, but has limitations.
Sci papers are a very good way to score points for evaluating professional titles, but the title unit limits the scope of sci authors. In other words, participants who publish sci papers may lose extra points because the author's position does not meet the requirements of professional titles.
Generally speaking, most professional title units recognize the first author and correspondent author of sci papers, and a few units may include the second author or even the third author in the recognition scope. It may be useful to evaluate the title of the second author of sci papers, but it is rare. Participants give priority to the first author and correspondent.
SCI collection type:
1, special issue.
It is often a periodical with a specific theme, such as malaria epidemic situation in a country, treatment research progress and so on. However, due to its specific theme, special issues are often added when they are included in SCI database. At present, some domestic colleges and universities do not recognize the special issue, thinking that it is as low-quality as the domestic special issue, and even confuse the special issue with the supplement, which is wrong.
2. supplement.
Supplement is just a supplement on the page. The supplement is actually another periodical that continues from the main issue. Someone was tricked into publishing a paper on it, but it was useless in the end. Because the supplement is not recognized, it is suggested that the author publish the paper in a regular journal. Secondly, the main magazine has the competent unit, the organizer and the postal code, and the main magazine has a supplement.
3. Meeting settings.
The papers in the conference papers collection contain original/preliminary research results and are published in full text or short articles. The conference project committee conducts peer review on these papers, usually by single-blind or double-blind peer review. Some teams are trying to conduct open or transparent peer reviews, but so far, the adoption of such reviews has been very slow. In addition, they are also different from monographs or textbooks.
