On the main reasons for Liu Bei's achievement as the king of emperors
Eight elements of Liu Bei's success

I couldn't put it down. I just looked at it, summed up some elements of Liu Bei's success, and wrote it for everyone to enjoy. It should be noted that the content of this article is only based on the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, and does not involve historical facts. Don't take this article too seriously.

Through personal struggle, Liu Bei went from a civilian to the highest figure in the Ninth Five-Year Plan. If we explore carefully, there will be a successful way. As the saying goes, heroes are born in troubled times. Social upheaval provides a rare opportunity for everyone who is ambitious and talented, but some people succeed and others fail. Among the founding emperors of China, such as Liu Bang, Liu Xiu and Zhu Yuanzhang. Are all successful examples from the bottom of society; Bobby Chen, Guangwu and Chen Youliang are examples of failed struggles. After decades of struggle, Liu Bei finally succeeded from a commoner to an emperor. In addition to environmental and objective factors, subjectively, I think there are the following eight factors.

First, be firm. Determination is the fundamental factor of Liu Bei's success. Liu Bei's repeated defeats and wars, and his fighting spirit is not diminished, basically lies in aiming high and not being disheartened by temporary gains and losses. Liu Bei has little ambition. As Bobby Chen once said when chatting with people who work together, birds know the ambition of a swan! There is a long passage in the Romance of the Three Kingdoms when Liu Bei came out of the mountain, which shows that Liu Bei is not an ordinary person at the bottom of society. At that time, the Yellow Scarf Army invaded the state boundary, and Ada recruited volunteers to confront it. As a result, a hero was born: "That man is not very good at reading, gentle in temperament, silent, angry and invisible, always ambitious, and good at making friends with heroes all over the world"; "He lives in Lousang Village in this county. In the southeast of his home, there is a big mulberry tree more than five feet high. Looking ahead, Tong Tong is like a hood. Xiang Zheyun: There must be a noble person in this family. When Xuande was a child, he played with children under a tree in the country and said, I am the son of heaven, so I should take this car cover. Uncle Liu said a strange thing: "This son is very human. "This passage shows that Liu Bei was ambitious at an early age. This ambition is nothing more than being an emperor. When Liu Bei met Zhang Fei and Guan Yu, they became half-brothers, which indicated that he wanted to help the poor and serve the country, and he could also see his ambition. Cao Cao is talking about heroes when he talks about "heroes are in today's world, only the monarch and the minister." Liu Bei was so surprised that his chopsticks fell to the ground, which showed that Cao Cao was exactly what Liu Bei wanted. Liu Bei invited Zhuge Liang three times, but Zhuge Liang avoided it twice before. I think the main reason is that he didn't understand Liu Bei's ambition. As the saying goes, good birds choose wood to live in, and Zhuge Liang, as a generation of handsome men, should find a British master. When Liu Bei visited the cottage, Zhuge Liang made it clear: "I would like to hear the general's ambition." After Liu Beiping retired from others, he said, "The Han Dynasty has collapsed, and the treacherous court official has stolen his life and wants to extend justice to the world. "In layman's terms, they want to seize the world and rule the world. Liu Bei's determination is evident.

Second, use the virtuous. Using the virtuous is the key factor of Liu Bei's success. Liu Bei used sages, and the most important thing was Zhuge Liang. Liu Bei visited the cottage and invited Zhuge Liang, which became a turning point in Liu Bei's career. Before that, Liu Bei ran around like a lost dog and had no place to stand. Although he is ambitious, he can't stretch. After getting Zhuge Liang, he took Jingzhou, decided Yizhou, and finally became emperor. Throughout his life, Liu Bei trusted Zhuge Liang very much, and entrusted him with all important things so that Zhuge Liang could take a chance and never be suspicious. Zhuge Liang also did his best and devoted himself to death. Because of this, Liu Bei can succeed. Liu Bei also used Pang Tong and Ma Liang. But they didn't show anything special after all. Pang Tong, in particular, was recommended by Kong Ming, but Liu Bei didn't know his talent and almost missed it. Other talents, in the shadow of Zhuge Liang's light, failed to give full play. So in Liu Bei Group, unlike Cao Cao Group, there are not so many talents, but it seems that Zhuge Liang is alone, and some talents are dying. This is also an important reason for the rapid demise of Liu Bei's career.

Third, the conclusion. Loyalty is an important factor in Liu Bei's success. Taoyuan Sanjieyi has always been talked about by people, thinking that it embodies the highest realm of righteousness of China people. But Liu Bei's loyalty is far-sighted, mainly considering his career. In the process of saving Liu Bei, He Zhang saved Liu Bei's life many times. Later, he became the pillar of Liu Bei's career. After Liu Bei entered Shu, Guan Yu guarded Jingzhou and confronted Cao Jun and Soochow. After Liu Bei captured Yizhou, Zhang Fei was appointed as the prefect of Brazil, confronting Cao Jun, who newly occupied Hanzhong. Hezhang is the core member of Liu Bei Group, whose cohesion and fighting capacity are supported by them. Zhang Guan never separated from Liu Bei in his life, but United as one. In Liu Bei's life, another example that fully embodies the use of loyalty to win people's hearts is Zhao Yun. Moved by Liu Bei's loyalty, Zhao Yun followed Liu Bei all his life without regrets and made great contributions to Liu Bei's career.

Fourth, follow the trend. Liu Bei is good at following the trend, which is also an important factor for Liu Bei's career success. Liu Bei is a civilian, unlike Cao Cao, who has the power of the Xia Cao family and two big families, and unlike Sun Quan, who has a grand inheritance set by his father and brother. Liu Bei started from scratch. At that time, to achieve great success, someone had to follow and form a power group. It is not easy for an ordinary citizen to gain the trust of others and respond. But Liu Bei had an idea. He made full use of his surname, that is, the imperial surname at that time. After telling what she is, Wang Jing of Zhongshan suddenly became the blood of the royal family. Not only that, he also ascended the throne of his uncle and was honored as his uncle. Liu is the most popular name in China. Does it have royal blood? In that troubled times, no one wanted to make a serious investigation, even if they did, they might not be clear. After making friends with others, Liu Bei will say that Bei is Wang Jing of Zhongshan, under the banner of defending the Han Dynasty. Later, he went to the treasure of God and used the banner of restoring the Han Dynasty to deceive some people. China has always had a well-founded saying that if a name is not correct, it will not work. Liu Bei knows this well. Liu Bei, under the banner of Wang Jing of Zhongshan, also enhanced the justice of his career. He is just and so are his followers.

Fifth, pretend to be weak. Liu Bei has the ability to pretend to be weak and is a genius in acting. There is a saying in history that Liu Bei's country is a crying country, which is generally true. Throughout the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, there are dozens of places where Liu Bei wept bitterly. Liu Bei is really a crybaby. Liu Beisan invited Zhuge Liang, but refused to come out and cried. Seeing that Liu Bei was crying, Kong Ming agreed. At Liu Biao's house and in front of Liu Biao's grave, Liu Bei once cried. Liu Bei cried and said that he had not returned Jingzhou to Sun Quan. When he married Sun Shangxiang, Liu Bei cried in front of Wu Guotai. When he saw Liu Zhang, Liu Bei cried. Zhao Yun left Liu Bei for Gongsun Zan and said goodbye to him. When crossing the river with Xiangyang people, Liu Bei was afraid. Changbanpo, Zhao Yun saved Ben, and Liu Bei cried. After Guan Yu and Zhang Fei died, Liu Bei cried all day long, so that he cried and bled. As the saying goes, men don't cry lightly. As a man, why does Liu Bei always cry? Is it really sad? I don't think crying like this is just a way for Liu Bei to treat others, in order to move others, move others, move others and arouse their sympathy. Sometimes it is to show sincerity. But sometimes it's very melodramatic, showing it to others. For example, when Xiangyang crossed the river, facing the great fear of the people, it was mainly for others to show their love for the people when they were children. After Zhao Yun rescued Aban in Changbanpo, there was both sadness and posturing. It seems that even for those who want to be emperors, pretending to be bad is a useful and effective means.

Sixth, the next paragraph. The word "alongside money" here is borrowed from the word "alongside big money" today. Borrowing money is actually a way to take advantage of the trend. But Liu Bei's money is not only borrowing money, but also relying on a powerful force to preserve his strength and gradually develop himself when his strength is weak. Is to seize power, usurp the Lord, and give priority to customers. Almost all the powerful forces in the Three Kingdoms period were visited by Liu Bei. Gongsun Zan and Tian Ji first, then Lu Bu and Tao Lian, then Cao Cao and Yuan Shao, then Liu Biao and Sun Quan, and then Liu Zhang. Not only did Liu Bei not want to avoid the den temporarily, but he deliberately and secretly grabbed the strength of the site, preparing to be unique and anti-customer-oriented. When dealing with Gongsun Zan, he used Gongsun Zan's soldiers to secretly woo Zhao Yun and dig the foundation of Gongsun Zan. Because of Gongsun Zan's high vigilance, Liu Bei was forced to return people, but without success. In dealing with Tao Qian, they actually robbed Xuzhou. When dealing with Yuan Yi and Cao Cao, it didn't take advantage. Later, I had to play the idea of consanguinity. Cai Mao saw through Liu Biao's idea as soon as he hit it, and Ma Yue Tanxi found it. But after Liu Biao's death, he still took Jiangxia as his inheritance. When dealing with Sun Quan, he occupied a large area of Jingzhou territory. Finally, the abacus hit the head of the eldest brother Liu Zhang, robbed Yizhou, and finally became the emperor's business. Liu Bei's territory and talents are basically from Jingzhou and Yizhou. Starting from scratch and making full use of his strength is an important strategy of Liu Bei and an important factor of his success.

Seven, marriage. Who was Liu Bei's earliest wife? After reading Romance of the Three Kingdoms, I have no idea. The first wives I met were Mrs. Mi and Mrs. Gan. Mrs. Mi is the sister of Mi Zhu, a very rich man in Xuzhou. Mrs. Gan married Xiao Pei, and I don't know the source. Liu Bei married Mrs. Mi. It is said that Mi Zhu married his sister when he saw that Liu Bei had no woman and no one to take care of him. But in fact, Mi Fei is a rich and influential man in Xuzhou. There is no lack of political considerations for Liu Bei to marry his sister. Mrs. Mi died in Changbanpo, Dangyang. Mrs. Gump gave birth to Aban, who died around Battle of Red Cliffs because of the long war. From this, some people say that Liu Bei is hard to beat his wife all his life. After Battle of Red Cliffs, Sun Quan married his sister Sun Shangxiang to Liu Bei. This marriage should be more political, in order to consolidate the alliance between Sun and Liu. Because Liu Bei is 49 years old, Sun Shangxiang is still a beauty. After Liu Bei entered Chengdu, Sun Shangxiang returned to Soochow. Liu Bei married Wu, the wife of another widow's son. Liu Bei married Mrs. Wu, because she was beautiful, and to win over Yizhou people and consolidate her position in Yizhou. From this point of view, Liu Bei's marriage is less love and more politics, which is also the sorrow of politicians.

Eight, run for your life. Liu Bei ran for his life many times. Running for your life is also listed as one of the magic weapons for Liu Bei's success because of its important role in his career success. Liu Bei is well aware of the truth that "there is no fear of burning without firewood". It is because of his indomitable spirit that he can finally achieve great things. It is worth mentioning that Liu Bei has the ability to escape and often survives and comes back to life. Some famous escapes from Xuzhou to Lombardi, some from Lombardi to Jingzhou Liubiao, and some from Xinye and Fancheng to Jiangxia via Changbanpo, and finally fled in despair. That is, Yiling was defeated in World War I, fled back to Baidicheng, became depressed, was ashamed to meet people, dared not go back to Chengdu, and finally could not afford it. Looking at the romance of the Three Kingdoms, Liu Bei basically won't win the battle. As Lu Xun said in the battle of Yiling, it is not a good idea to push this theory, and it is not enough to prepare for marching back and forth. There is also a passage about Liu Bei's escape and defeat: he who is prepared is a fool, and he has tasted many things. His army began to gather and deliberate, but he couldn't. I have lived here for a long time, but I can't do it. The soldiers were exhausted and discouraged, and they couldn't come back to life. Today I am the enemy. Lu Xun's theory is really accurate and his analysis of Liu Bei is incisive. It was because he saw through Liu Bei that he decided to defeat Liu Bei in one fell swoop.
