Abstract of the first paper: A Difficult Start: Exploration and Practice of Journalism Postgraduate Education in the Republic of China

There are different opinions about journalism graduate education in the Republic of China. Based on the analysis of rich Chinese and foreign historical materials, the author thinks that the journalism graduate education in the Republic of China began in the journalism department of Yanda University in 1960s, and achieved fruitful results in 1960s. Only 65,438+0 Ge wrote a thesis advertisement in China in May of 65,438+09,365,438+0, and obtained a master's degree, becoming the first journalism graduate student in China to obtain a master's degree. During 19, the China Journalism Research Office of Yan 'an Research Institute and the School of Journalism of Chongqing University of Political Science conducted similar practical exploration activities. But the effect is very small, which is not the postgraduate education in today's sense. Therefore, the journalism graduate education in the Republic of China was in the embryonic stage of exploration and failed to develop into a formal journalism graduate education system, which fully reflected the difficult starting course of journalism graduate education in China.
