Tea ceremony was introduced into Japan from China, and it was integrated with Japanese traditional culture, thus having the unique temperament and charm of the Japanese nation. It is integrated with Japanese religion, art, society, philosophy, fine arts, ethics and etiquette, thus becoming a comprehensive culture and occupying a very important position in Japanese culture.

Tea ceremony research has always been an important field of Japanese cultural research. The study of tea ceremony is inseparable from the study of oriental culture. Tea ceremony is the crystallization of the cultural integration of two oriental nationalities in the world, which has the characteristics of oriental culture. This paper aims to study the process of tea culture communication between China and Japan, the changes of tea ceremony and its significance in real life. On the basis of previous studies, through the origin of tea and the development of tea ceremony; The influence of Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism on tea ceremony; The influence of China's past dynasties on Japanese tea ceremony.
