This major has the right to award master's and doctor's degrees in cartography and geographic information system, cartography and geographic information engineering, photogrammetry and remote sensing, earth exploration and information technology, the key laboratory of land and resources information technology and application of the Ministry of Land and Resources (ministerial level) and the professional laboratory of 3S technology and surveying and mapping engineering (school level).
