Traffic in Beilun District:

Beilun District has developed traffic. Taishan Road runs through the whole area from east to west. The roads in China are named after mountains and rivers, and the east-west roads are named after mountains, such as Taishan Road, Huashan Road, songshan road and hengshan road.

The north-south trend is named after rivers, such as Changjiang Road, Yongjiang Road and Songhua River Road. Tongtu Road, Jiangnan Highway and Ning Chuan Road (National Highway 329) connect Beilun District and downtown Ningbo. Yongtaiwen Expressway starts from Beilun District and is connected with the national expressway network.

Daqi Shugang Highway connecting Yongtaiwen Expressway and Beilun Port Area is the first elevated road in Ningbo. Ningbo Ring Expressway passes through Beilun District, setting up Xiaogang, Dingjiashan exit and a good four-way hub. The mountain-crossing port-dredging expressway connects the mountain-crossing port area and the expressway around the city.

Meishan Bridge and Daxie Bridge connect Meishan Island and Daxie Island. The Ningbo Chuanshan-Liu Heng Shugang Expressway and Yongzhou Expressway, which cross Meishan Island and connect Zhoushan Liuheng Island, have also entered the planning stage. The rail transit phase II 1 line has also arrived in Beilun District.
