How does "Master Share" write a resume and successfully sell itself to employers?
I just finished reading a stack of resumes brought by HR. To be honest, I'm a little tired, not physically, but mentally. There are countless experiences in writing resumes online, and there are also special one-on-one tutoring. Why can't I write my resume well?

I asked HR what it would be like to be a father if the child's resume was thrown into the trash can.

You have written a lot of career resumes. Some were quickly picked away by HR, while others sank into the sea. Do you know why?

For any company, people are the most important and talents are scarce. When the employer finds the right person, it will be a fortune. But why should it take 15 seconds to read a resume and decide whether to leave it or throw it in the trash?

In today's product thinking, how to write a resume that touches HR; How to successfully sell this high-quality product to the employer.

In my past career, I have read thousands of resumes, and I can tell you responsibly that no matter what level of position a person applies for, the success rate has a strong relationship with the quality of resumes. I remembered the teacher's words again: I am talking, and the words are talking about me. A resume is a true portrayal of a person.

Once, I interviewed a quality director. My resume says that I have rich experience in quality planning and improvement, which impressed me deeply. Because European and American customers are very strict about quality, they need a person in charge who is fluent in English and has experience in quality improvement. Tell the candidates at the beginning of the interview that this English interview, please talk about your project experience in quality improvement first. The candidate stammered, stuttered and mixed with English with a strong local accent. As you can imagine, there is a big gap between the three interviewers.

As a candidate, I always want to add some highlights to myself. Exaggerated description can easily become the focus of interview questions, otherwise it will roll over. Confidence is necessary, but we should pay special attention to the use of adjectives. For adjectives such as richness and fluency, the interviewer's understanding and evaluation criteria are likely to be different from yours, but it will produce an exaggerated feeling.

Some candidates are always worried about their lack of project experience and want to write more other projects to increase their capital. The interviewer pays special attention to the role and function in the project. If you don't do it yourself, it's easy to expose the stuffing and create a dishonest impression.

People applying for senior management should pay special attention to this. Some projects are under their own jurisdiction and can easily be counted as their own. There will be an illusion that you have enough information to deal with the interviewer. Experienced executives can really cope with the interview calmly and echo before and after. But experienced interviewers will start with a certain detail and ask questions continuously. If they don't do it themselves, they will usually show their flaws. Only the interviewer will take care of face and will not find it on the spot; Mind you, don't forget that the human resources department will also do background checks.

Once the authenticity is in doubt, the highlights of other real experiences will also be overshadowed.

It is difficult to participate in fewer projects; The more projects there are, the more difficult it is to do.

Some people, rich in project experience, fruitful and rewarding, wrote six or seven pages, including not only the text but also the appendix. It will be useful when evaluating professional titles, but it is not suitable for interviews. Just like opening a long WeChat article, people will have the impulse to close it immediately. To make matters worse, it will give people a bad impression that they can't grasp the key points and grasp the beard, eyebrows and beard.

At this time, you may wish to score the experience, 3, 6, 8, 9, 5 points; If you describe all five experiences, the space must be very long. You can only write 8 or 9 points for the project experience, and leave the rest for the interview. At the request of the other party, you can share the project of 6 points, because your heart is not particularly bright, so you don't write it in your resume. Imagine what the interviewer will think. Maybe the interviewer will think so: the project with 6 points is very good. It seems that the candidate is very demanding of himself, and the items written on his resume must be of a relatively high level.

Brilliant talent is excellent, but it is very important to do a good job of screening and reasonable placement.

It is a good thing that some "sincere" people realize their own shortcomings and are willing to improve. But the wrong expression will also leave a bad impression.

A resume of HR wrote: "I have insufficient experience in salary performance, so I will study hard and improve myself." What do you think when you see such a description? For employers, people majoring in human resource management should master salary performance. Such a description is likely to become a one-vote veto.

Enterprises choose people, not saints, and will accept imperfections. Building a team is like making a barrel. You should choose the longest board for each candidate, so that the assembled barrel can hold more water. Therefore, please give full play to your best "that board" and strive to be unparalleled in the company.

Some people may ask, is it inappropriate to say that inadequacy is a manifestation of modesty and eagerness to learn? Of course not. The company recruits people to solve problems, not a training school.

Resumes are mostly narrative, so it's boring to do something in a company in a month.

Writing a resume is the same as making a product. First of all, we should do a good job in customer demand research and analyze what employers value most. Find out whether your resume is important or your ability is important.

A resume is a formal document that mainly introduces your background, skills and achievements. Describe the experience and don't forget to summarize the results. At this time, it will be more convincing to explain with data. For example, taking an active part in mentoring activities, nine employees have been trained to become technical backbones in three years, five have won outstanding employees of the year, and two have won the second prize of scientific and technological innovation of the company. Through VA/VE, the cost was reduced by 7.5%, and the goal of cost reduction was achieved. ...

In addition, the resume shows that career planning is also very important. Which employer doesn't like employees who have goals and drive? Franklin said: some people die at the age of 25, but they are buried at the age of 75.

Your work experience listed in order is qualifications, and qualifications are not equal to abilities.

The company recruits experts to solve problems, not to find jobs. Through what you have accomplished, you can show your ability, especially that you are stronger than people of the same age and position.

The presentation of a resume is like a brochure. Don't write a detailed product description, but highlight the core value of the product.

For example, the description of project management, management 12 project synchronous development, the annual on-time delivery rate reached more than 95%, and the cost control rate reached 92% ... In short, it not only showed excellent progress management and cost management capabilities, but also had certain project set management capabilities.

It's important to introduce your achievements at work, but it doesn't mean that you are very capable. The more important the project experience is, the more teamwork is needed. Your resume should emphasize what you have done and what results you have produced, so that the other party can infer the level from the results.

A few years ago, under the aura of famous schools and enterprises, people would talk about high salaries. In recent years, enterprises have gradually returned to rationality. Looking at the background of the applicant will pay more attention to ability and achievement. A person's high level does not mean that he is suitable, nor does it mean that the effect of doing things must be good. You can be proud of your alma mater after graduating from college; If you graduate for a few years, you should be proud of the result.

Enterprises need people who produce results, not people with a halo on their heads.

Man struggles upwards, but water flows downwards. Looking at the resume will also pay attention to whether the applicant's work experience is upward and stable.

Changes in position and company size can often explain whether a person is developing continuously or has reached the "ceiling". If the position fluctuates, HR will be especially alert to whether there is a problem.

When you apply for a higher position, don't worry about not having this level of experience. However, be sure to tell the interviewer that you have this level of ability. You know, especially in senior positions, it is often after a person has the corresponding ability to ratify.

A colleague was very interested and asked me how to determine a person's salary. In fact, it is not difficult. In large enterprises, there will be a clear competency model. Usually, the ability requirements of different levels of posts are clearly described from different dimensions such as general ability, professional skills and organizational ability. Each level has a corresponding standard of conduct. Just like taking a ruler to measure candidates, it is naturally much clearer.

When writing a resume, it is difficult to understand the HR information inside the enterprise. The interview is open, the criteria are difficult to define accurately, and there are certain subjective factors. To say something useful, let's go back to an article I published, The Thinking Law of Product Managers. Different levels of thinking are different. Don't just say what you are familiar with, talk more about job requirements.

Just like climbing a mountain, you will see different scenery when standing in different positions, and the interviewer will infer your level according to the scenery you describe.

Since it's called a resume, it's best to be concise and not more than 2 pages; And clearly state the skills and experience related to the work objectives and the position you are applying for.

The format and color of the resume need not be too complicated, but the design is still important, so that the key information can be seen at a glance, presenting a dynamic, capable and sustainable self. It is also a good way to update your resume frequently, so that you can check whether you have made progress during this time.

Write a resume and successfully sell yourself to your employer. Good luck!
