Deng tingzhen's tomb
The first and second batch of provincial cultural relics protection units in Jiangsu Province 1982 were adjusted and announced in March, and Deng Tingzhen's tomb was announced in Lingshan outside Qilinmen, Nanjing in Qing Dynasty.
Located in Dengjiashan, under Lingshan, outside Xianhe Gate, east of Nanjing. Deng Tingzhen, a national hero who argued for smoking ban in the Sino-British Opium War, is as famous as Lin Zexu. In the 26th year of Qing Daoguang (1846), he died in Xi 'an and was buried in Lingshan. The mausoleum faces southwest and backs to Lingshan. There are two tombstones of Deng Tingzhen and his wife in front of the tomb. One moment, "The Qing Emperor sealed the tomb of General Doctor Rong Lu", the other moment "The tomb of a famous lady, Mrs. Zhang" were all engraved with seal script, and the next paragraph was engraved with "Door, Gold, Xianxun, Zun" and "Twenty-six Years of Daoguang". These two monuments were lost during the construction of the reservoir in 1958. The existing tombstone was rebuilt by Nanjing Cultural Management Committee on June 1962+00, with a pedestal of 0.28m high and 0.95m wide. The monument is1.34m high, 0.6m wide and 0.19m thick. The tomb of Deng Tingzhen, Governor of Guangdong, Guangxi, Fujian, Zhejiang, Shaanxi and Gansu in Qing Dynasty, was engraved on the front, and the monument was rebuilt on the back, describing Deng Tingzhen's resume and achievements, as well as the reason why the original monument was buried in Daputangba, so a new monument was built to commemorate it. Behind the monument is the grave. 1982, listed as a cultural relic protection unit in Jiangsu province.
Deng Tingzhen, a native of Jiangning (now Nanjing), was a scholar in the sixth year of Jiaqing in Qing Dynasty (180 1). He was the governor of Anhui, Guangdong, Guangxi, Fujian, Zhejiang, Shaanxi and Gansu. He was a national hero who advocated banning smoking and resisting Britain in the Opium War. He once ousted Yili with Lin Zexu. In the 26th year of Daoguang (1846), he died in Xi 'an and was buried in Lingshan, Jiangning. He is the author of Poems on Shuangyanzhai and Collected Works of Castle Peak _ Hall.
