Liu Xiang was born in Dayi County, Sichuan Province. He was a famous anti-Japanese soldier and his wife Zhou Yushu. The couple have three sons and a daughter. Liu Shiying, the eldest son, and Shi Zhe, the second son, both died in the war when they were young. The youngest son, Liu Kanghuai, graduated from university and did business with the United States in Nanyang. Daughter graduated from Chengdu. Liu Xiang led the Sichuan army out of Sichuan to resist Japanese aggression and died in Wuhan. Liu Xiang has been married all his life!
