Later, some people stored water here to raise fish. The water depth in the middle of the pond is about five or six meters. In 2005, an adult man drowned while swimming in the pond.

Villagers who often fish on the nearby ice said that since last winter, other nearby ponds have been covered with ice with a thickness of more than 10 cm, but there is no ice in the center of this pond for four or five square meters.
