In the Tang Dynasty, a mound was built next to a well from wei county to Anqiu and Zhucheng Post Road. At the end of the Qing Dynasty, an inn named Fangzi Store was opened next to the mound, hence the name Fangzi.
The old "Weixian" is now Fangzi District and Weicheng District. Fangzi, located in the middle section of the original Ji Jiao Line, is an important transportation hub. Fangzi has the most concentrated German and Japanese buildings in Shandong, which are concentrated within 8 square kilometers of the old city. At present, there are 166 buildings, including 103 buildings in Germany and 63 buildings in Japan, with a total construction area of 45,246 square meters. The buildings in Germany and Japan reflect the heavy history of China's transition from a feudal society to a semi-feudal and semi-colonial society. It is a historical witness of imperialist aggression and expansion, an important historical and cultural resource and a precious human landscape resource in modern China, with high historical, scientific, educational and artistic value. In April 2000, it was announced as a key cultural relics protection unit in Weifang; In June 2003, it was rated as Grade A in Weifang by the expert group; In 2005 10, it was announced as the third batch of patriotic education bases in Shandong province; In February 2006, it was announced as a key cultural relics protection unit in Shandong Province.
The formation of Fangzi German-style architecture originated from the colonial occupation of Fangzi by Germany and Japan. (mainly plundering rich mineral resources), Germany occupied Fangzi from 1898 to 19 14, totaling17; 19 14 Germany was defeated, and Japan gained control of Fangzi until 1945 when the Japanese army surrendered. This series of architectural communities are scattered within 8 square kilometers of Fangzi, and their number, concentration, perfect facilities, complete functions and distinctive styles are first-class in the whole province and even the whole country. Some of these buildings are magnificent, some are exquisite and chic, some are solemn and luxurious, and some are thick and simple, combining the architectural styles of Germany and Japan. The formation history of Fang Zide's Japanese architecture is a typical historical epitome of the gradual transition from feudal society to semi-colonial and semi-feudal society in old China under the imperialist colonial expansion.
The protection and development of Fangzide Japanese-style buildings is listed as one of the three key projects of Weifang's "urban tourism". In line with the principles of strict protection, scientific planning and effective utilization, protect, develop and utilize reasonably and effectively. We are using market-oriented means for protection and development, striving to reproduce the historical features of the 1920s and 1930s, striving to build a European-style town integrating culture, tourism and commerce, and building a creative economic park. 1April, 948, Weixian was liberated, and Fangzi Town was subordinate to Fangzi City, Weifang Special City, and later changed to Fangzi District of Weifang City, also known as Weifang fourth area. On April 29th, 2000, Yongquan Township was abolished, and 8 villages, such as Dazhuangjia Village and Kloc-0/0, in Yongquan Township were placed under the jurisdiction of Qingchi Town, 8 villages, such as Xu Cun, were placed under the jurisdiction of Che Liu Zhuang Town, 7 villages, such as Zhujiaying Village, were placed under the jurisdiction of Mucun Town, and 8 villages, such as Chajiabu Village and Kloc-0/0, were placed under the jurisdiction of Meicun Town (No.32 [2000]).
On June 28th, 2003, Fangzi District adjusted some administrative divisions: Chenjiayoufang, Wangjiayoufang Village 1, Wangjiayoufang Village 2, Yuejia Village, Xige Village, Dongge Village, Lijiashimen, Zhaojiashimen, Lu Guan, Liu Dong Village, Wujiazhuang, Beizhaozhuang, Nanzhaozhuang and Beixujiazhuang. Cancel Qingchi Town, set up Qingchi Sub-district Office within the administrative area of Qingchi Town, and the office will be stationed in the former Qingchi Town People's Government.
On June 30, 2003, Nanliu Town of Anqiu City was placed under the jurisdiction of Fangzi District of Weifang City.
On July 4th, 2003, the Shandong Provincial Government approved the adjustment of some administrative divisions of Kuiwen District, Fangzi District, Weifang City: canceling Che Liu Zhuang Town in Fangzi District, Keep the original cars in Caijialou, Yujiazhuang, Shangbu, Xiangyang, Sun Jia Zhuangzi, Donghuangmenzhuang, Xihuangmenzhuang, East Cao Zhuang, Rantun, Sanchahe, Houche Liu Zhuang, Weiyang, Yujiazhuang, Zhongguanzhuang, Zhangjiaguanzhuang, Gujia Shimen, Dongfang, Dongdan Jiabu, Xidan Jiabu, and Guojia, Xinwangjiazhuang, Liu Zhuang Town, the original car of high-speed rail. Qingchi Sub-district Office in Fangzi District is under the jurisdiction of Kuiwen District.
On August 26th, 2003, Fangzi District established Fangan Sub-district Office, which governs Nandian, West Cao Zhuang, Dongwangsong Village, Dongwangsong Village, Luojiazhaizi and Nanliu Town, Xiwangsong, Shabu, Gaolingguanzhuang, Wangjiashibu, Zhangjiashibu, Yujiashibu, Huangli, Dongcun and Caijiashibu.
In 2003, the total area of this area was 345.55 square kilometers. Jurisdiction over 8 towns (offices) and 244 administrative villages (neighborhood committees). At the end of the year, the total population of the region was 239,500, including 60,000 non-agricultural people.
In 2007, Jingshanwa Town, Heng 'an Street and Changning Street were abolished and merged to form a new Fangcheng Street; Cancel Nanliu Town and Fang 'an Street and merge to form a new Fang 'an Street; Cancel Meicun Town and Mucun Town, and merge to set up Jiulong Street; Phoenix Street remains unchanged.
