Brief introduction of Xu Da, a general in Ming Dynasty
Xu Da (1332- 1385), a native of Yongfeng Township (now northeast of Fengyang, Anhui Province), was a founding hero of the Ming Dynasty. At the end of Yuan Dynasty, Xu Da joined Zhu Yuanzhang's army, followed him to defeat Chen Youliang and Zhang Shicheng, and Zhu Yuanzhang appointed him as Left.

In the twenty-seventh year (1367), Zheng Zheng served as a general, and together with his lieutenant Chang Yuchun, explored the Central Plains and captured the Yuan Dynasty. When Hu was prime minister, he wanted to make friends with Xu Da, but Xu Da ignored him. Hu bribed Fushou, a doorman in Xu Da, to plot against Xu Da. Fushou exposed him, and Xu Da didn't pursue it. When he was a little better, Zhu Yuanzhang sent Xu Huizu, the eldest son of Xu Da, with his personal letter to offer condolences, and he was soon recalled to the capital. In February of the following year, Xu Da died. So Zhu Yuanzhang stopped listening to the government and mourned when he was in mourning.

Xu Da was made King of Zhongshan and Wuning of posthumous title, and all his descendants were made nobles. Buried the clock and made the emperor's tombstone. Xu Da enjoys the ancestral temple and the portrait hero temple, ranking first.
