For more than forty years, Yinchuan Shaanxi Opera Troupe has always adhered to the "second" direction of socialist literature and art and the policy of "letting a hundred flowers blossom", and its overall strength has been growing. The troupe has successively staged more than 80 plays, including Zhou Ren's Return to the House, Wang Qi, Fourteen Kings Going to Ningxia, Xinghua Village, Mu Dexiu, Li, Civet Cat for Prince, and Yangmen Female General, and performed more than 100 outstanding traditional passbook plays. The troupe adheres to the concept of people-oriented and artistic education, and pays attention to the cultivation of outstanding talents. A group of outstanding artists who are quite accomplished in art have come to the fore one after another, played an important role as backbones, and formed a healthy development situation in which the three generations of backbones come down in one continuous line and have a virtuous circle. Over the years, the troupe has vigorously explored the performance market, and its performance footprints have spread all over the four provinces of Shaanxi, Gansu, Ningxia and Mongolia. Nearly 200 performances are performed every year, which are well received by urban and rural audiences. The troupe has been commended and rewarded by the autonomous region and Yinchuan Municipal Party Committee and Government for many times, and won the title of advanced cultural unit in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.

The troupe won 17 awards such as excellent drama award, excellent performance award and excellent performance award at the first China Shaanxi Opera Art Festival in xi in 2000.

In May, 2002, Liu Ping, an outstanding young actor of the troupe, won the19th China Plum Blossom Award, which filled the blank of this award in Ningxia drama circle for more than 50 years.

In June, 2002, 165438+ 10, the troupe successively achieved excellent results in the National Excellent Local Opera Exhibition Competition and the Second China Qinqiang Opera Art Festival in Lanzhou.

In addition, many actors of the troupe participated in various exchanges and competitions held in the northwest region and the autonomous region, and achieved excellent results. More than 30 outstanding actors won various performance grade awards or honorary awards respectively.

Eight outstanding actors, including Luo Xiaoying, Yue, Qu and Zhang, were invited by CCTV- 1 1 to make two appearances in the column of Appreciation of Famous Sections.

In 2008, the newly edited historical drama "Zhuang Fei and Dourgen" won five awards, including excellent drama award, screenwriter award, director award and performance award, at the 4th China Qinqiang Opera Art Festival in 2008.
