Certificate of Chinese Teacher: issued by Hanban (renamed: Center for Chinese-foreign Language Exchange and Cooperation), it is a public institution affiliated to the Ministry of Education, and is mainly aimed at those who major in teaching Chinese as a foreign language and participate in the selection of volunteers from Confucius Institute.

The exam is very difficult, especially the interview part.

Application conditions: Only those with bachelor degree or above can apply.

Certificate of International Registered Chinese Teacher: For non-Chinese majors who want to teach Chinese as a foreign language.

The overall difficulty of the exam is relatively small and the content is relatively simple.

Application conditions: college degree or above can be applied.
