Brief introduction of Zhanjiang First Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine
Zhanjiang No.1 Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine was established in February, 1968, formerly known as Zhanjiang District Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It was renamed in June, 438+0983. It is a third-class first-class Chinese medicine hospital with early establishment, large scale and complete disciplines in western Guangdong, which integrates medical rescue, teaching and scientific research, preventive health care, rehabilitation nursing for the elderly and community service. It is a teaching hospital of Guangdong medical college and a non-directly affiliated hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine. In 2008, the hospital was designated by the National Development and Reform Commission and state administration of traditional chinese medicine as the construction unit of the national key Chinese medicine hospital. In March 2009, the hospital was awarded the title of "Guangdong Famous Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine" by the Guangdong Provincial People's Government. The hospital has an out-patient department, an inpatient department, a special medical and health care center, Aizhou Fair Price Hospital and a nursing home for the elderly. At present, there are 500 employees, including 47 senior and intermediate titles/kloc-0, 5 provincial and municipal Chinese medicine practitioners and 408 beds.
