Shicheng, the easternmost station in Taiwan Province Province, is a dream combination of bicycle lanes, railways and sea views.

The first stop from Taipei to Yilan by train is Shicheng. Shicheng Station is the easternmost station in Taiwan Province Province. At present, only the shuttle bus stops, about 1-2 times an hour, which is quite quiet. On the abandoned platform, you can see the unique traces of the years in this station.

After getting off at Shicheng Station, walk north along Binhai Highway of Taiwan Province Line 2 for about 15 minutes, and you can reach Shicheng Fishing Port. There is a small observation deck where you can sit and watch the sea and overlook Kameyama Island when the weather is good. Picking a quiet afternoon is definitely a good choice to relax.

Besides, Laocaoling Tunnel and Shicheng Service Area are just 20 minutes' walk to the north, and many passengers rode all the way from Long Fu. Bicycle lanes, railways and seascapes complement each other and instantly forget all the pressures.

Dali station has two places where you can enjoy the sea view. After leaving the station, go south to Dali Old Street and walk along the pedestrian walkway. The sea view is on the left. You can also choose to walk north for 7 minutes after leaving the station and arrive at Dali Tiangong Temple (Caoling Qingyun Palace), overlooking the beautiful coastline of Yilan from a height.

It is also the starting point of the Caoling Ancient Road. This season is most suitable for going up the mountain to see the magnificent Miscanthus and seascape, and it won't be too tiring to walk all the way to Long Fu. It is said that it is easier to climb the Caoling ancient road from here than to start from Long Fu!
