As far as the current form is concerned, who can analyze the 4g networks of the three major operators and how to choose them?
For users, choosing 4G is not simply a matter of high tariffs, but also a series of factors, such as whether the deployment of 4G network is perfect, whether 4G terminals are abundant, whether 4G services are in place, etc., because these factors are related to what kind of 4G experience we can get. Below, we will interpret the 4G layout and progress of the three major operators from different angles, which may give you some judgment basis.

4G tariff:

1, threshold. China Mobile's new 4G flying package, including the lowest grade of voice and traffic, was lowered from 88 yuan to 58 yuan; China Unicom has the lowest level of 76 yuan for the same type of 3G/4G unified package; At present, China Telecom's 4G package only supports data cards, and the minimum monthly package is 70 yuan.

2. Packaging type. China Mobile's new 4G flying package is divided into 9 files from 58 to 888 yuan, of which there are 58 yuan and 88 yuan files within 100 yuan; China Unicom is divided into 8 files from 76 yuan to 596 yuan, but within 100 yuan, only 76 yuan file is available for users to choose; China Telecom package is divided into five grades: 70 yuan, 100 yuan, 130 yuan, 200 yuan and 280 yuan.

3. Packaging content. Let's compare the traffic packets in 70 yuan. 70 yuan traffic in the new mobile 4G package includes 2G traffic. If you still get a 2G traffic package, Unicom will pay 72 yuan after a 20% discount on online shopping, which is slightly higher than mobile. China Telecom's 70 yuan gear 4G package only contains 1GB traffic, excluding voice.

4. Traffic sharing. China Mobile's new 4G package supports sharing traffic with four friends and relatives, and each person charges a monthly function fee of 10 yuan; China Unicom and China Telecom do not support this service at present.

5. The flow is cleared. China Mobile's new 4G package has introduced "quarterly package" and "semi-annual package", and the cycle of clearing the package balance has been extended from one month to one quarter or even half a year. At present, China Unicom and China Telecom have not launched the policy of clearing or renewing the traffic for 4G mobile phone users.

6. Combination suit. China Mobile has launched an optional package for its new 4G package. Optional traffic 500M/30 yuan-1 1G/238 yuan, optional voice 200 minutes /48 yuan -4000 minutes /408 yuan, 200 short multimedia messages/10 yuan -600 pieces /30 yuan, a total of three files. China Unicom has also launched an optional package similar to mobile, but there are optional contents of value-added services according to optional traffic, voice and data types. China Telecom has not yet launched a combined package.

7. Automatic traffic reminder. China Mobile's new 4G package has achieved the double capping of 500 yuan or 15GB for the traffic outside the package; China Unicom has also taken similar measures. Outside the package, the traffic is 600 yuan, and the domestic traffic is no longer charged. Until 15GB, the system shut down the data network this month; China Telecom has adopted the double capping measures of 1000 yuan or 20GB.

8. tariff escalation. In terms of the convenience of upgrading the tariffs of old users, China Mobile will undoubtedly take care of the feelings of old users more. Customers of China Mobile's original GSM package and business travel package can directly enjoy the "4G upgrade plan", and the monthly fee and voice volume of the package remain unchanged, but the traffic is directly increased by more than 2 times. Moreover, there are many outlets in China Mobile Business Hall, which makes it more convenient for users to change their cards and handle packages in the business hall. Unicom's old users can't be upgraded for the time being, so they need to apply for a new number, which is a bit unkind to the old users. China Telecom's current 4G package does not support the upgrade of old users for the time being.

On the whole, China Mobile and China Unicom have their own advantages and disadvantages in the tariff level, but they are basically the same. However, China Mobile is one step ahead in terms of service measures such as clearing traffic, sharing traffic and facilitating upgrade. However, China Telecom can only meet the needs of some data users because it only has a 4G network card package and does not contain voice.

4G network coverage

At present, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has only issued TD-LTE 4G commercial licenses to the three major operators. As China Mobile deployed earlier and invested the most, it is now in an absolute advantage in the coverage of 4G networks: as of the beginning of May this year, China Mobile has deployed 260,000 4G base stations, and the target is to deploy more than 500,000 during the year. At present, it has covered more than 200 cities, and it is estimated that the number of cities covered will reach 332 by August, basically covering the domestic market at or above the county level.

As for China Telecom, according to the data released by Chairman Wang Xiaochu in March this year, 60,000 4G base stations have been built in 2065,438+03, and 80,000 are planned to be built in 2065,438+04, with a total scale of 654,380+040. In terms of urban coverage, China Telecom's current 4G network covers nearly 60 cities, and this year's target is 300.

China Unicom has opened 25 cities with 4G network friendly experience, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Harbin and Jinan. According to the data released by Xiong Yu, general manager of marketing department of China Unicom, it is planned to build 50,000 4G base stations by the end of 20 14, but the urban coverage target should also reach 300.

This is a very interesting set of data. Under the condition that the overall coverage of urban targets is equivalent, the 4G base station of China Unicom is110 of China Mobile, and that of China Telecom is about 1/5. You know, 50,000 base stations are deployed in 300 cities, and the average deployment of each city is less than 170, so the coverage is extremely limited. This kind of "pepper-spreading" base station deployment cannot complete extensive coverage. From the name of "3G/4G Unified Package" launched by China Unicom, it can be seen that China Unicom focused on upgrading and optimizing its HSPA+ 42M 3G network in 20 14, and its 4G marketing significance was greater than its content significance.

As for China Telecom, the downlink rate of its CDMA EVDO Rev.A 3G network is only 3. 1Mbps, which is far from that of China Unicom's HSPA+ 42Mbps 3G network and China Mobile's TD-LTE 100Mbps 4G network. Therefore, it is more active to suggest and cover 4G networks than Unicom. At present, China Telecom's bidding for 4G equipment accounts for about 30%. According to the plan, China Telecom plans to use FDD in a large-scale and wide-coverage area.
