Brief introduction of Chen Jie.
In July 2005, he joined the School of Geographical Sciences of Southwest University to engage in teaching and scientific research. The main courses taught by postgraduates and undergraduates are Modern Cartography, Thematic Map Design and Compilation, and Virtual Reality Technology. Mainly engaged in mountain basin geomorphic process and GIS application research. The current research focuses on the principle, influence and process reappearance of slope erosion in the Three Gorges reservoir area. Since my work, I have presided over the doctoral fund of Southwest University, Research on the Relationship between Main Tributaries in the Upper Reaches of the Yangtze River from Chongqing to Yichang, and now I am presiding over the sub-project of the important direction project of the knowledge innovation project of China Academy of Sciences, the regional distribution law and disaster-causing mechanism of debris flow, and the special fund project of the basic scientific research operation fund of Southern University, Research on the geomorphological process of small watershed based on distributed erosion model.
