Lei Feng, formerly known as Lei Fengxiong,1was born on June 5, 950 in Dongqiao Township, Wujiang County, Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province (now Wujiang District, Suzhou City). His father is a farmer and his mother is a hand-embroidered mother. From 65438 to 0958, Lei Feng joined the boy scout organization in China. 1960 was admitted to Suzhou light industry school to learn the technology of repairing machines. 1962 joined the army after graduation and became a radio operator. In the army, Lei Feng actively participated in military exercises and operations, and was good at finding detailed problems in his work and solving them in time. He also helped other soldiers solve some problems in their life and work. 1On March 5, 963, Lei Feng died unexpectedly while cleaning up combat readiness equipment. He is 23 years old.
