Why do many words in word become links?
Sometimes the text copied from the Internet contains links. At this time, if you copy directly, the generated text will become a link. The steps to prevent it from becoming a hyperlink are as follows:

When we open the Word document, we see that the URL is a hyperlink.

In the Tools menu bar, drop down AutoCorrect Options.

When clicked, a dialog box will appear.

Click the AutoFormat button in the dialog box, and the dialog box will be converted to the AutoFormat dialog box.

There is a check mark in the box in front of "Internet and network paths are replaced with hyperlinks" in the dialog box.

We just need to remove the check mark from the box in front of "Internet and network paths are replaced with hyperlinks", r press it, and then click OK.

When we enter the URL again, it will no longer automatically become a hyperlink.
