The CCTV TV host contest is an important event carefully built by the Central Radio and Television General Station. It has been successfully held for six times since 1988.

Competition background

1988 China Central Radio and Television General Station hosted the first National People's Congress Competition. The first "Ruyi Cup" host contest was held, and Cheng Qian, Ju Ping and Zhang Zequn won the gold medal.

During 1995, Wang Zhi, Gungun, Yuan Ming, Cao Kefan, Ye Huixian and other contestants from all over the country left a deep impression on the TV audience and won wide support from the audience.

In 2000, the third "Royalstar Cup" host contest was held, and outstanding players such as Liu Fangfei, Sa Beining, Shen Bing and Chen Weihong stood out.
