Li Shizhen (1565438+July 3, 2008-1593), whose real name was Dong Bi, was born in Qihu in his later years and was a famous doctor in the Ming Dynasty. Wan Mizhai, a "holy doctor", has been said to be "the prescription of Wan Mizhai and the medicine of Li Shizhen" since ancient times. Later, it was awarded by Chu Wendi Palace and Tai Hospital. After his death, he was named "Wen Linlang" in the Ming Dynasty.

From the forty-fourth year of Jiajing (1565), Hua Tuo went to Wutai Mountain, Lushan Mountain, Baohua Mountain, Niushou Mountain, Huguang, Nanzhili, Henan, Beizhili and other places to collect medicine samples and prescriptions and worship fishermen, woodcutters, farmers, rickshaw drivers, medicine workers and snake catchers.

With reference to 925 kinds of books about various generations of pharmaceutical industry, such as Archaeology Proof, Physics Poor Research, some words were extracted from the records, and many common problems were clarified. After 27 years of severe cold and three revisions, the magnum opus Compendium of Materia Medica with a word of1.9200 was completed in the 18th year of Wanli in Ming Dynasty (1.590).

In addition, he also has scientific research on pulse science, strange classics and eight veins, and has many works, such as "Examination of Eight Veins in Strange Classics" and "Pulse Science on the Lake". He was praised as a "medical sage" by later generations.
