How is the novel submitted?
Novices are most prone to errors in novel submission. Let me report my feelings separately.

Special note: if you have outstanding talent in one aspect, the shortcomings in other aspects may be ignored by readers.

First, the deviation that is easy to appear in the submission:

1. Vote "naked draft"

2. Imagine that it takes an editor 2-3 days to read a strange contribution.

3. "Editors only recognize celebrities and acquaintances"

1. Submit the draft. "Naked manuscript" refers to the manuscript with only the text of the novel.

Editors are first and foremost readers, but also have the bad habits of ordinary readers. When reading a novel by a strange author in a bookstore, I first read the title and cover, which aroused my interest, and then picked it up to read the beginning. If it doesn't arouse my further interest, put it back on the shelf immediately.

In order to attract readers' attention, publishers have thought of some ways:

1. Print some of the most exciting (sensory, mental) languages on the cover;

2. Print the first two thirds of the story outline on the back cover;

3. Print the favorable comments of reviewers that readers may know on the front cover or back cover.

My advice to contributors is never to submit a naked manuscript. Unless the editor is extremely bored with your email, there is generally no chance to read it.

Your submission, in addition to the novel body, should at least have the following elements:

1. The title and chapter are correct.

2. Author's signature and communication method.

Pick out the best sentence (paragraph) you wrote and put it in front.

4. The opening must be eye-catching. There are some skills for successful opening.

2. Imagine that it takes an editor 2-3 days to read a strange contribution.

I have encountered such a situation: I received a novel draft of tens of thousands of words from the author, and after 2-3 days, I came to ask if I had finished reading it. This is almost impossible.

Even if you are interested in the manuscript, it is almost impossible to read it in 2-3 days.

3. "Editors only recognize celebrities and acquaintances"

In terms of high-quality manuscripts, almost all editors are in a state of hunger and thirst at any time. You won't stop reading the contribution just because you don't know the author. Because the author has never published a novel, he doesn't read the contribution.
