How to write a resume and how to write a good self-evaluation in it?
Unless you are a descendant of the family business, you should write a resume for your life.

In the past decades of my career, I have read thousands of resumes and can tell you a conclusion responsibly. Whether a person is looking for a job or being promoted, the success rate is closely related to the quality of his resume.

So, no matter how much you don't want to write, at least write a resume.

Before talking about the writing of resume, first list four taboos in writing resume. 1. Just because someone has made small achievements, you can't praise him for writing his small achievements or awards into big achievements. That will not only doubt his level and experience, but also his point of view.

For example, what would you think if someone listed the third prize of quiz in Class 2, Grade 3 in junior high school as a child on his resume after graduating from college? This is not only gilding the lily, but also shows that grades are worthless in one's mind.

This is the richest life that the old people who didn't have enough to eat could imagine, just like having peanuts in their pockets.

Of course, no one may write the prize won in the third and second grades of junior high school on their resumes, but many people will write the same content.

For example, many undergraduate graduates will list the awards they won in middle school, which is meaningless.

When a person enters a university, it has nothing to do with which high school he enters, and he is equal to his classmates in the university.

People are more concerned about what you left the university with.

Many people have no work experience, so they can increase the small projects they have done in class and show their work experience more.

It's like someone showing off their muscles and saying that they can carry several bags of rice. You said you lifted three steamed buns.

It's better not to say this.

Don't be proud of others' achievements. Today, a lot of work needs everyone's cooperation, and everyone needs to perform their duties.

You should clearly state your achievements on your resume, but don't generalize. Don't deliberately mislead each other, thinking that all the credit is yours.

I read the resume of an enterprise employee. The man said that she had convened a meeting of the chief information officers (CIOs) of hundreds of enterprises.

If you only listen to this sentence, you will feel that her status should be not low. Because that kind of activity is very big.

But seeing that she has only two years of work experience, she sends text messages to help with the meeting when she asks.

Because she provided untrue information, her resume was naturally discarded.

In fact, people with only two years' work experience don't have high expectations for her, but pay more attention to the development potential.

3. Don't use force evenly. Many people who have no bright spots write their resumes in chronological order, such as 1, 2, 3, 4.

In fact, people's careers have peaks and valleys. A person has done five things in his life. Two may stand out. One is ordinary, and two are not done well. It emphasizes that progress is smooth, and two things that have not progressed must be downplayed in the resume.

Try to quantify it. Everyone becomes easy to understand.

For example, your comprehensive evaluation of five things is 35, 70, 90, 85 and 40 respectively.

My opinion is, if it doesn't affect the integrity of your resume, don't write the experience of 35 points and 40 points.

If you have to write, dilute it before you write.

When the other person asks, those jobs are only 10 in your mind, and all other jobs are 70, 90 and 85.

In this case, the other party will feel that the score of 10 is not useless, and other achievements mentioned by the job seeker also have a certain level.

Conversely, a job with 35 or 40 points must be said to be 70 points.

The other party thinks that he is a person who doesn't ask much of himself and feels good about himself. Other jobs are probably exaggerated.

The key to writing a resume is not to bury gold in the sand for people to find, but to wash the sand away and make the gold more dazzling.

Please avoid using PPT to write your resume. I have seen some product managers, marketers and media people do this. They regard all the products and projects they participate in as PPT.

They confused the resume with the folder.

How to write a resume? I will summarize this into five main points. 1. Define the purpose of writing your resume. A resume is an official document about yourself. Besides the necessary personal information, I mainly introduce my background, skills and achievements.

In addition, regarding your resume, you need to explain your next action and lifelong career goals.

For example, "seeking the position of the market leader of a fast-growing enterprise".

Of course, this goal will change according to the delivery location. If the other party is a slow-growing enterprise like IBM, it must be said that "seeking a job in a multinational company with leading technology."

2. Many people with obvious differences in experience and ability arrange their work experiences in chronological order. That's experience.

Even if the experience looks beautiful, it's not a job.

I read my resume. That man worked for six or seven years and changed to five companies, including Oracle Bone Inscriptions, Microsoft and other star companies.

However, the achievements that all experiences can tell are not outstanding.

What is your first impression after reading such a resume? You may think that this person is an expert in finding a job, not a person who does a good job.

This example may be a bit special, but many people confuse experience with ability.

A good resume, through what you have done, shows your ability, especially better than your peers and peers.

3. Compared with people who emphasize highly, emphasizing the effect is not necessarily better than doing things.

Experienced employers are well aware of this matter. Of course, it is more effective for the boss to choose subordinates.

Therefore, your resume should emphasize the results of what you have done, so that the other party can calculate their own level in turn from the results; It should be packaged as an effective person, not a person with a halo.

In 2002, after my interview, HR of the other party gave me the resume of the principal in order to encourage me to join the company. What impressed me most was the resume of a sales person in charge.

He didn't graduate from a famous university and didn't work long hours. There must be a more famous and capable person among the world sales executives, but his sales effect is amazing.

For example, during his two years in Netscape, he increased his sales by 65,438+000 times, making sales profitable from almost zero.

Seeing that this small company has such practical sales ability, I thought that even if I participated, the company would not be able to open the pot one day.

Usually, many small companies will find some famous people as consultants or nominal directors in order to keep up appearances, but these people usually don't do their best. A high level is not necessarily invalid.

What a unit needs is more efficient employees, not employees with a halo above their heads.

4. Maintain consistency and improve trends. Everyone's development in different time periods and fields is unbalanced, but resumes need to be stable and show a gradual upward trend.

Don't make me feel that my grades in high school are better than those in college. College is better than work.

Some people boast that "I graduated from Beijing No.4 Middle School at that time". After graduating from this famous high school, I was promoted to a second-rate university. If graduate students fail to pass the exam, it is normal for many people to change jobs. Not to mention the courage at that time.

Some department heads often have the principle of "zero expectation score" when selecting subordinates.

What do you mean? When you apply for graduate recommendation, you only look at which university you graduated from, not which high school you graduated from.

If you have worked for 10 years, you only look at the work experience in the last five years, not at which university you graduated from, nor at your first work experience.

Similarly, in this promotion and promotion, the results before the last promotion were zero. If you want to say why, it is because those achievements were used once in the last promotion. This time, I only like the result of my last promotion.

A person can't spend his whole life on his first achievement.

Therefore, it is necessary to tell such a story in your resume. -I have been making progress in my academic and professional career, and my achievements have increased.

If this representation is drawn on the graph in chronological order, the best is the upward curve, and the worst is the downward trend.

After people's experience is determined, we can't make false corrections, but we can emphasize and ignore the details.

Although there are ups and downs in experience and performance, if they are all accumulated resumes, people's performance will be relatively dull.

If you delete a few points that affect the trend (red dots in the picture), you will also feel that you are making progress.

This is the skill of retouching a resume.

5. Note that many large companies are adopting resumes nowadays, but unless there are words such as "internal recommendation" or "internal recommendation" for short, resumes usually enter the eyes of human resources or recruiters after computer screening.

Lack of suitable keywords, or full of various keywords, is a big taboo for writing a resume.

My classmate used to study civil engineering, and later graduated with a master's degree in computer science.

This experience is not entirely from the perspective of some companies. I studied civil engineering for five years, but I only studied computer for two years, so I am a little worse than computer major.

Later, I advised him not to rewrite his previous study experience as "I got an engineering degree from a school in a certain year", but to emphasize which department he graduated from.

This is true, but I have received general education in engineering, graduated from a good university, and received computer professional training at the master's level. This degree is perfect.

However, sometimes it is necessary to be specific. For example, we received a resume. Applicants generally said that they had worked in machine learning. Machine learning is a huge concept. At this time, you need to focus on what you are doing.
