Guo's father was a big sinong in the Eastern Han Dynasty, and Guo himself was the official magistrate of Yanmen County at the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty. His eldest son, Guo Huai, whose real name is Ji Bo, was promoted to filial piety at the beginning of Jian 'an in the Eastern Han Dynasty and became a plain official. When Cao Pi was a general with five senses, he called Guo Huai a thief Cao, then he was the prime minister to discuss the history of Cao, and then he served in the army for a long time.
