Training objectives
Training objectives: This major trains compound engineering professionals with basic theories and methods of mining solid deposits (coal, metal, nonmetal) and basic abilities of mining engineers, who can engage in mining fields such as engineering design and construction, mine safety engineering, mine operation and management.
Training requirements: Students in this major mainly study the basic theories and technologies of mine geology, rock mechanics, mining principles and mining design, and mine safety engineering, receive the basic training of mining engineers, and master the basic abilities of mine planning and mining design, rock stratum control technology and mine safety technology.
Graduates should have the following knowledge and abilities:
1. It has the qualities of love and dedication, hard work, good engineering professional ethics and rich humanistic quality;
2. Have the necessary knowledge of natural science and engineering science and certain knowledge of economic management of mining engineering;
3. Master solid mining methods and technologies, mine pressure and rock mass engineering monitoring, mine disaster prevention and emergency rescue, and understand the frontier and development trend of solid mineral resources mining technology;
4. Have a strong sense of innovation and advanced basic ability of production organization and technical management, as well as the basic ability of research and development of new technologies and new processes;
5 familiar with the national technical standards, industrial policies, laws and regulations related to the exploration, exploitation and utilization of solid mineral resources, safe production and mine environmental protection;
