Overview of Villanova University Campus
Villanova University covers an area of 254 acres and is only 12 miles from Philadelphia. There are about 65,438+0,500 trees in the Botanical Garden of Villanova University, including redwoods found only along the Mississippi River.

The most prominent building in villanova campus is St. Thomas villanova Church, whose twin towers and spires are the tallest buildings in villanova. The intersection of the road in front of the church and Lancaster Avenue is an important intersection on campus and a very popular meeting place. Every Sunday night, a mass ceremony will be held here for the students.

Behind St. Thomas Church in Villanova is Mendel Stadium. There are three main buildings here: Mendel Hall, Torentine Hall and CEER (Engineering Education and Research Center).

★ The Engineering Education and Research Center is located in 1998, with advanced engineering laboratory and classroom facilities.

★ There are classrooms, academic offices and computer laboratories in ★Tolentine building.

★ Mendel Building, named after the world-famous biologist Mendel, has many scientific laboratories, lecture halls and other facilities. The two buildings in Mendel Hall are connected by the corridor on the second floor underground. 1998, the school commissioned Philadelphia sculptor James Peniston to make a 7-foot-high bronze sculpture of Mendel, which was installed at the entrance of the building.

A little east of Mendel Stadium is the Farway Library and two dormitories (Cole Hall and Alumni Hall). Farway Library is the main research library on campus, with more books than a million copies and thousands of periodicals. There are also independent study and work places such as TV production studios in the library.

To the east of Kuhl Hall is Kennedy Hall, where there is a campus bookstore and a small restaurant. The Connelly Center next to Kennedy Hall is the seat of the Student Union. There are also many places to eat and drink, parties, cinemas and automatic teller machines (ATMs).

Between Dougherty Dining Hall and Connery Center is Oreo. It was made by Jay Dugan. It is a huge black and white sculpture. Under this huge sculpture, villanova people held numerous celebrations and revels, including the celebration after 1985 won the NCAA men's basketball championship.

Further east are Sheehan Mansion, Sullivan Mansion and Bartley Mansion. Bartley Hall is the seat of the Business School. Here is the dormitory in the south campus of the school.

To the west of Mendel Field is the west campus of the school, which mainly includes St. Mary's Church, Law School and West Campus Apartment. St Mary's Church is the seat of the School of Nursing. St Mary's Hall is an easily lost building with many classrooms, cafes and chapels.
