Graduates from China TV University, Night University and Vocational College can only apply for undergraduate courses.
The average academic performance of applicants studying in the United States should be above "good", that is, the average academic performance required by American schools should be above "B". China students who want to apply for undergraduate courses need to have a high school diploma with excellent grades; Applicants for a master's degree must have graduated from a university with a bachelor's degree; Applicants for doctoral degrees must have a master's degree and a higher level of academic papers or scientific research results.
Commonwealth countries:
Students who graduate from self-taught examinations or adult education are recognized by the Ministry of Education of China and have formal diplomas, which are recognized by most Commonwealth countries such as Britain, Ireland, New Zealand, Australia and Canada. Students' grades and the school background of upgrading to undergraduate course; It is also possible for college students to study for a master's degree, but most of them still need a bachelor's degree certificate.
Take Britain as an example. There are several ways for China self-taught college students to apply for a British master's degree:
1, college graduates or college students who have worked for less than 3 years. If you don't have a qualified TOEFL score (above 580) or IELTS score (above 6.5), you can go to the UK for a period of language courses, or take a primary course after meeting certain language requirements, or take a master's preparatory course last year, and formally enter the master's stage from the second academic year. Under normal circumstances, students with this condition can't apply for an MBA degree, and it is difficult to apply for most master's degrees in business.
2. College graduates with three or more years' working experience can apply for master's preparatory courses (including English courses for three to six months) for six months to 1 year if they don't have qualified TOEFL and IELTS scores, and then they can directly enter the master's stage by passing two or three master's preparatory examinations.
3. College students who have passed TOEFL and IELTS scores can directly apply for master's courses in British universities. However, if you apply for an MBA degree, you usually have more than 5 years of relevant work experience. In this case, the success rate of applying for a prestigious British school is often low.
According to the experience of college students studying in the UK, it is often difficult for China college students to complete 8-10 postgraduate courses in one year because of the gap in professional knowledge between college students and undergraduates. Therefore, some of these international students often complete their master's courses by extending their study time for half a year to one year, and finally get their master's degrees.
If you feel that your previous major is not ideal, you can also choose to change your major and go to the UK to study undergraduate. For those who already have a domestic college degree, British universities can generally be exempted from undergraduate preparatory courses, or from the second year of undergraduate, it is also a good choice for the British academic system with three years of undergraduate.
Japan:
According to Japan's study abroad policy, those who have obtained the certificate of Japanese proficiency test level 2 or above and have more than 12 years of formal school education can directly apply to Japanese universities or short-term universities. But the premise is that you must pass the exam held by the school in China-written test or interview. More and more Japanese schools are beginning to recognize the junior college or undergraduate degree of graduates from self-taught examinations and adult education in China. However, Japanese universities require that students studying for a master's degree must have 16 educational experience or obtain a bachelor's degree. In China, it is relatively difficult for applicants to prove their years of education because there is no time limit for self-taught exams.
For the self-taught college students, some Japanese schools, such as osaka sangyo university and Beppu University, can accept them to go to junior college or change classes. If their major is suitable, they can get an undergraduate diploma after two years of study, but not all schools will accept it.
Because the master's degree in Japanese universities needs the consent of the tutor, undergraduates rarely apply for the master's degree in Japanese universities directly in China. They can contact the tutor while reading the language, and then transfer to the master's degree. Language school usually takes six months to a year.
Germany:
The German government reached an agreement on mutual recognition of academic qualifications in 1999. German universities began to examine the admission qualifications of China applicants according to the adjusted new regulations from June 5, 2000 to 10 (i.e. winter semester). According to the new regulations, the necessary conditions for Chinese mainland students to apply for direct admission to German universities are: 1. Graduation from 12 high school; Two, through the "national unified college entrance examination" to enter the undergraduate or three-year college; Third, according to different situations, I completed 1 ~ 4 semester with qualified grades; Fourth, have good basic knowledge and ability of foreign languages (usually German; The international course is English). All academic qualifications of regular institutions of higher learning officially recognized by the people of China and the Ministry of Education are recognized by German public institutions of higher learning.
The qualifications of informal universities or informal higher education are usually not recognized, and unless a bachelor's degree certificate is obtained, it is possible to apply with the qualification of "equivalent qualifications". High school graduates who are not admitted to universities are not eligible to apply for universities (including preparatory courses), and their applications will be rejected. Applicants need to have a certain level of German, and generally need to have proof of 800 words in German.
Singapore:
Generally, public schools in Singapore do not recognize China's self-taught examination and adult education, while some private schools do. Except those who have already obtained a bachelor's degree, few well-known schools recognize this degree.
If you can get a bachelor's degree in adult education from the top universities in China 10 and have more than 3 years of management experience in multinational companies, TOFEL580 score is above 580 or IELTS 6.5 score is above 6.5 and GILE2000. You can study for a master's degree in a public university and apply for a government grant.
If you graduate from a junior college, you can only apply for a high school diploma to apply for a public school; Private universities have relaxed conditions and can be promoted to undergraduate courses. Generally, they can be exempted from one-year courses. Those who have a bachelor's degree can go directly to private universities to study for a master's degree, but they must have a bachelor's degree to apply for a public university.
France:

Applicants with a university degree must not be over 28 years old; College degree or above, good English, you can apply for a master's degree or a doctor's degree directly. China students' academic qualifications and diplomas must be approved by the principals or admissions committees of the declared schools.
If it is the first stage of registering a French university, you need a high school (get a diploma to take the college entrance examination and be admitted to a domestic university) or a bachelor's degree; If it is the second stage of registering a French university, you need to have a college degree.
