Introduction to Louisiana State University School
The official registered name of Louisiana State University is "Louisiana State University and Agricultural Machinery College", commonly known as "LSU", and its logo color is gold and purple. The earliest school is located in the small town of Pi enver, Louisiana (now the seat of Louisiana College, a private university), and it was officially moved to the campus in the center of baton rouge in the 1920s (see the homepage of the university website for the link of school history). There are more than 250 main buildings in the campus, which are concentrated in the highlands with an area of about 2.6 million square meters. The design style of the main campus initially adopted the architectural style with grey walls and red roofs in northern Italy during the Renaissance, and at the same time successfully absorbed the wind of ancient architectural art. baton rouge is famous for its beautiful environment, and LSU's campus is beautiful all year round. In spring, the campus is full of flowers, and in summer, it is lush. In autumn, the layers of forest are all dyed. It is rainy in winter, but many trees and flowers survive the winter and are evergreen all year round. The lake in the campus is clear and the grassland is lush all year round. The highland on campus used to be the manor of early wealthy businessmen. The bell tower on campus is nearly 54 meters high and is also an independent war memorial tower on campus. At the top of the tower, overlooking the whole campus, it is a landmark building in Louisiana. It rings every half hour. Louisiana State University has six sports venues, including football, basketball, baseball, track and field, gymnastics and swimming. On the west side of Tiger Stadium, there is a huge cage with a Bengal tiger, which is the mascot of Louisiana State University and the baseball team of the school. This team is the pride of Louisiana State University. From 1986 to 200 1, successively1/kloc-0 won the NCAA annual championship. The west of the campus used to be a sugar base, known as the "sugar pot".
