Jeonnam University, also known as Jeonnam National University (English: Jeonnam National University Korean:? ), a famous comprehensive research university in Korea, is the key construction university of BK2 1 project in Korea. Jeonnam National University originated from Gwangju Agricultural University 1909. It was established by the government of the Republic of Korea on 9 June 1952. It is one of the flag universities in Korea 10. The school is located in kwangchow, the Korean "cultural and artistic center".
In 2022, QS World University ranked 75 1-800. 202 1, CWUR ranks among the top 500 universities in the world; 2020 CWUR ranking12; USNews ranking 13 in 2020. Jeonnam University ranks fourth in the evaluation of research departments of Korean National University and fourth in the publication of SCI-level papers of Korean universities.
