The school was established in 1984. The name of the school is Jiangsu Radio and Television Workers Secondary Professional School, and the school address is No.34 Jiangdong North Street, Nanjing. 1989 Jiangsu Radio and Television School was established with the approval of the Jiangsu Provincial People's Government, and enrolled full-time general secondary schools for the whole province. 1990, the school moved to the present Yuhua East Road 156. 1992 was officially renamed Jiangsu Radio and Television School with the approval of Jiangsu Provincial People's Government. Five-year higher vocational education began in 2002, and became the first batch of five-year higher vocational colleges in Jiangsu United Higher Vocational College in 2004. This school is a subordinate school of Jiangsu Radio and Television General Station.
