The 20-week language course at the University of Melbourne is divided into two stages, the first ten weeks and the last ten weeks. The first 10 week is called academic English preparation, or AEP for short. The last ten weeks are called visits.

AEP:

If you want to go to a language class, you have to apply first. The report is simple. Just bring your passport, CoE, and provide it on the day of class. Don't elaborate on the details. You will always be guided anyway. It is reported that there was no class that day, and all classes started the next day.

The whole AEP has two exams, the mid-term exam and the final exam, all of which are listening, speaking, reading and writing. As long as the average mid-term and final scores are above 60, you can enter the next 10 week of study!

If the average score of an item is between 55 and 59, you will have another chance to make up the exam. If the individual score is lower than 55, I'm sorry, either reread or take IELTS! And your visa will be changed, and your stay in Australia will be changed to 2 months!

Access only tests listening, writing and speaking, and the proportion of writing accounts for 60%! It can be seen how important writing is in Chinese class! As long as your final grade reaches 60%, you can successfully enter the main course through the language class.
