Xiamen University
Xiamen University (XMU) was founded in 192 1 by Chen Jiageng, a famous patriotic overseas Chinese leader. It is the first university founded by overseas Chinese in the history of modern education in China, and also a high-level university under the national "2 1 1 Project" and "985 Project". 20 17 Xiamen university was selected as a world-class university list.
The school has graduate schools, 6 departments, 29 colleges and 15 research institutes, forming a complete discipline system including humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, engineering and technical sciences, management sciences, art sciences and medical sciences.
