Shaanxi University of Science and Technology was founded in 1958, located in Hanzhong, a famous historical and cultural city in China. It is a provincial general institution of higher learning covering many disciplines such as literature, economics, law, teaching, history, science, engineering and management. 1958, Hanzhong university was founded to solve the problem of basic education teachers and other urgently needed talents in southern Shaanxi. 1978, it was renamed Hanzhong normal college.
