First of all, Tianjin University has a realistic department, which is selected by candidates after entering the school. The realistic department covers four categories and more than 20 general directions. If students can pass the corresponding examination and selection, they can enter the department and choose a major, which is equivalent to changing majors.

Secondly, in the next semester, if the students' grades are in the top 15%, then there is another chance to apply for professional adjustment.

Third, the architecture and urban-rural planning majors of Tianjin University are highly recognized and popular in this society. Many candidates want to study in these two majors. In view of this situation, we provide the third way. In other words, if students are interested in studying in these two majors, the school will organize an art exam in the next semester, and students who pass this exam can transfer to these two majors.

According to Grain Rain, students who transfer to architecture and urban-rural planning in this way need to study again from their freshman year, because these two majors are five years, which is equivalent to six years for students. There is no such requirement for the first two ways to change majors. In view of the characteristics of these two majors, it is necessary to start from freshman year.
