Historical Evolution of Studying in Osaka University, Japan
In the fourth year of Taisho (19 15), the name of "Medical University" was officially used. In 193 1 year, it was officially named Osaka Imperial University, with two departments of medicine and science and technology. 2. Sinology School (also known as Huaidetang), founded in 1924, was funded and operated by businessmen, focusing on humanities, and later became the French Department of Osaka Imperial University. Shortly after the establishment of Osaka Imperial University, Osaka University of Technology, which was developed from Osaka Technical School, was merged into later institutions such as the Ministry of Engineering, the Institute of Microbiology and the Institute of Industrial Science.

The development of history

Osaka University originated from Huaidetang, a sinology school founded in 1724, and Lan Xue School founded in Kouan Ogata in 1838. As the development of the latter, Osaka Imperial University was founded in 193 1, which is composed of the Department of Medicine and the Department of Science. As the sixth oldest imperial university in Japan, it started with the Department of Medicine and the Department of Science, and soon after its establishment, it has risen to be "Osaka University of Science". Speaking of the characteristics of Osaka University, it is unthinkable to leave Osaka. In the old university era, it was praised by local people for its less bureaucratic atmosphere and extremely rich civilian characteristics. By 1933, Osaka University of Technology was absorbed into engineering, forming a three-part system of science, engineering and medicine. Although there was also the idea of setting up a liberal arts department, it was not realized because of the current situation.

After World War II, Osaka has undergone tremendous changes, and it can be said that it has ushered in the second spring. After World War II, 1947 was renamed Osaka University, and the educational system reform of 1949 merged the old Osaka University of Higher Learning, Su Lang University and Osaka College of Pharmacy into a new Osaka University with five departments of science, medicine, engineering, literature, law and general education.

Subsequently, the Department of Law and Economics was separated into the Department of Law and Economics on 1953, the Medical College was separated into the School of Pharmacy and the School of Dentistry on 1955 and 1960 respectively, and the Department of Basic Engineering was newly established on 19 1 and on 1972.

In addition to the above-mentioned 10 department, as an independent research department of the university (equivalent to graduate school), 1989 set up a department of language and culture studies, and 1994 set up a department of international policy studies. In 2002, the information science research department was established independently from the basic engineering research department, and the life function research department with the cell bioengineering center as the main body was established in the same year. In 2004, as the 15 research section, the higher judicial research section, commonly known as the College of Law and Science, was newly established.

In 2004, it became a national university legal person according to Japan's National University Legal Person Law.
