The main structure of the East Building of Northeast Forestry University (teaching building of electromechanical civil engineering) is 1 1 floor, and the middle part is 15 floor. This is a teaching building named to commemorate the first party secretary and dean of Northeast Forestry College.

1952 northeast forestry college was established, and Chengdong Liu was appointed as the dean of northeast agricultural college and northeast forestry college. 1958 Heilongjiang university was newly established as the party secretary and president, which laid a permanent monument for the development of higher education in Harbin.

Northeast Forestry University, located in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province, is a university directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC), featuring forestry engineering. It was established by the Ministry of Education, the State Forestry Administration and the People's Government of Heilongjiang Province. The school has two campuses, old and new. The School of Economics and Management and the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering are in the new campus, and other colleges are working in the old campus.
