There are 94 domestic universities in Yunnan, including 42 double-class universities such as Tsinghua, Peking University, Fudan University and Shanghai Jiaotong University, and many double-non-universities such as Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics, Nanjing Audit University, Nanchang University, Hebei University of Technology, Zhongnan University of Economics and Law and Southwest University of Political Science and Law.

Yunnan University of Finance and Economics, Yunnan Agricultural University, Yunnan University for Nationalities, Yunnan Normal University and Kunming University of Science and Technology are among them.

In addition, the newly-added universities in Selected Graduates include Chinese Academy of Sciences, Northeastern University, Hunan University, Southwest University and Youshi University in China.
