Shaanxi Aerospace Workers College is an independent public institution of higher learning approved by the Ministry of Education. It is headed by the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Education and belongs to China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation. The school was founded on 1978. In 2000, Shaanxi Aerospace Workers College began to recruit junior college students from ordinary universities.
By the end of 20 18, the school had set up eight majors, including electromechanical integration technology, mold design and system, numerical control technology, photovoltaic power generation technology and application, property management, marketing, e-commerce and engineering cost, to recruit candidates for the national college entrance examination.
The school has basic teaching facilities, including teaching building, library, student apartment, network management center, computer classroom, various laboratories, and other supporting service facilities such as internet electronic reading room, multi-functional classroom, multimedia language lab, sports ground and auditorium. It also has a national computer grade examination counseling station and a national aerospace vocational skill appraisal station.
In the long-term development of running a school, the school has gathered a group of high-quality teaching management talents, about 87% of whom have senior professional and technical titles. The school recruits students from all over the country, and the students have now covered Shaanxi, Henan, Xinjiang, Qinghai, Inner Mongolia, Gansu, Ningxia and other provinces, cities and autonomous regions. Since the establishment of 1979, it is the first hospital jointly established by the Sixth Research Institute of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation and the Shaanxi Provincial People's Government. There are more than 50 full-time adult education students and 300 students in school.
