The Chinese Department of Peking University has been trained as an undergraduate, regardless of major, and organized core basic courses in the first two years. In the third year, students can choose their major freely according to their interests. China literature: comprehensively cultivate literary and artistic aesthetic ability, literary phenomenon analysis and criticism ability and language expression ability.

Linguistics in China: Focus on cultivating talents in language research, language culture and language teaching.

Research on China's Classics and Archives: To cultivate talents with profound knowledge of Chinese studies who are engaged in digital collation and research of handed down documents, unearthed documents, overseas sinology and ancient books.

Applied linguistics (Chinese information processing): Chinese information processing, combining arts and sciences, developing computer language processing capabilities, such as information storage, transmission, retrieval, intelligent understanding, man-machine dialogue, etc.
