Shandong University of Technology was formed by the merger of Shandong Institute of Technology and Zibo College. 1956, Jinan Agricultural Mechanization School was established in Shandong Province; 1958, upgraded to Shandong Agricultural Mechanization College; 1990, renamed Shandong University of Technology.
65438-0998 Shandong Institute of Building Materials Industry Branch, Zibo University, Zibo Normal University, Zibo Staff University, Zibo Radio and TV University and other universities were established as Zibo College. In 2002, Shandong Institute of Technology and Zibo College merged into Shandong University of Technology.
