Brief Introduction of Liaoning University of Petrochemical Technology Liaoning University of Petrochemical Technology is the first petroleum industry school in New China. 1950 was founded in Dalian, 1953 moved to Fushun, and 1958 was upgraded to Fushun Petroleum Institute. In February 2000, Sinopec Group was transferred to the leadership of Liaoning Provincial People's Government. In February 2002, it was renamed Liaoning University of Petrochemical Technology with the approval of the Ministry of Education.
Since its establishment 69 years ago, the school has developed into a multidisciplinary university featuring petroleum and petrochemicals, with eight disciplines of engineering, science, economics, management, literature, law, teaching and art developing in a coordinated way. In 2007, the school accepted the evaluation of undergraduate teaching level by the Ministry of Education and achieved excellent results.
